JaVale was specifically asked if he and Dwight have any sort of friendly competion with each other.

"We got some of the highest 3-point percentages in the league. We're not competing with each other. We're competing with the whole league... Just let your shooters shoot."

Anyone seen when Javale yelled at Kuz some time in the 3rd quarter? Believe he wanted a lob, but Kuz drove right in and got called for a charge.

I think he took it on board though. When he got back in during the 4th one of the first things he did was the assist to Dwight under the basket.

Good honest feedback from McGee

I'd like to see him play more minutes. Good things happen when he's in the game.

JaVale + Dwight = DPOY Gobert (stats wise, I think they actually deter/alter more shots)

Javale has his good moments, but in the years of following the Lakers I cannot think of a player who has higher frequency of bone headed plays (just for fun, could you think of any player who was worse?) and is more annoying to watch.

I think the problem is his attention span; notice the stupid plays come in bunches and are more often the longer he stays on the floor. (I think coach is on to this though.)

Javale is liable to do something idiotic that eliminates us in a game 7. Please NEVER let him close out games.

This is what I've been seeing with McGee this year, as well. He and Kuzma are the two dumbest players on the court that we have.

All the bench is watching Lebron's fadeaway except for Javale, who looks like he wants to tackle the guy standing underneath the basket

Congrats, JaVale!

LOS ANGELES — The speakers in the Lakers’ weight room have been blasting “Available,” a song off Justin Bieber’s newest album, “Changes.”

The song is the work of the team’s center, JaVale McGee. Yes, he’s the one that grabbed the auxiliary cord to play the song. He’s also the only one on the team who can take credit for producing it.

Between his day job and his side hustle, McGee has achieved a rare feat: He’s a contributor to the No. 1 album in the country and to the top-seeded team in the N.B.A.’s Western Conference.

quite shocked that nobody brought this thread up after G2

AD had a great game but javale was my MVP: he contributed right from the tip off and was key during the 7 minutes stretch at the beginning of the 3rd quarter that definetely broke the game.

A good stat for McGee is 0 turnovers.

J-Mac's best all-around game in the Bubble so far. I hope we see more of this JaVale.
