Typically food poisoning goes away in 24 hours. The flu doesn’t. Besides everyone reacts differently and not all cases are the same. Telling someone to man up is asinine. |

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that outside of LeBron, Javale McGee would be the the most valuable player for this team. |

We are missing (past 2 games):
2 starters
1 6th man.
Of course we are struggling on the road without 3 of our top 6 players. _________________ No more punting please. The Rams did enough of that in the Super Bowl. |

Flu like symptoms are like wanting Ice Cream tomorrow and not today, those things can go away at any moment, so there is a decent chance he feels significantly better by tomorrow. |

Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram both practiced in full today, but JaVale McGee wasn’t on hand, as he’s still dealing with flu-like symptoms. (Editor’s note: At some point, we need to either commit to declaring this a flu, or moving on to something else.) AK

I wouldnt want him around the team if he had the flu. It could infect the whole team. _________________ The KUZ is Loose! |

It seems like McGee is a keeper but will require a raise in salary to reflect his starter status. But like to see if he can keep it up for the season and playoffs.
Chandler and Rondo are also keepers. Hopefully, Rondo will take a lower salary. |

I've had both, and I use to play basketball. Respiratory infections plus asthma is very serious. The seriousness of it is reflected by the fact that it hinders breathing. NBA players need every breath they can take because of the constant movement. There's no two to three minute huddles between plays like football, or sitting in the dugout awaiting your next at bat like baseball.
It truly amazed me that he used his inhaler WHILE playing. Generally, immediately after taking the inhaler, you have to let your lungs take the time to process the medicine, and then open them.
Take your time Javale so as not to exacerbate the issue. |

Just got over a URI myself a few weeks ago. This year's was a little nastier than usual. You feel like you're coughing up a lung all day and tired as hell because you can't sleep. I only have a little bit of asthma, so I imagine it's worse for JaVale.
Get well soon. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

The Lakers have declared JaVale McGee out for tonight’s game. He will attend their pregame shootaround. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |
