He's doing it against tanking teams.
I'm not saying he hasn't had his moments before the tank period... he was really good until he got the flu... but all this late season stat padding against eliminated teams means nothing. |

He had a great start, a horrible middle (and complained about Zub getting minutes which led in part to Zub being shipped out), and is finishing well.
Wish he had a better "middle." _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

If they traded Zubie due to McGee complaints, does that mean McGee is in the Lakers future plans????????????? _________________ "You cannot live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you"

It's okay, he's not the type of center we want anyway. Muscala is the one. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant |

Zubac/Harrell are becoming pretty lethal. Harrell flat out violated Towns last night. He is quickly becoming my favorite player. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Yeah Harrell has been more impactful of the 2 but even zu's limited time is a bit eye opening.
They're like a top defensive team in zu's minutes. |

He's a big body. Relatively nimble for his size and protects the rim. He's a great locker room guy and is a hard worker. WE TRADED THIS! I still get angry thinking about it. |

Unless we end up having KL or top level star in the bag and it turns out Magic knew so all this time, it's unacceptable. Even if we do have a big star locked... which looks unlikely... still shouldn't have had him walk for zero return. He was an asset. And perhaps we could still have him back next year. |

my problem is that even if and it's a big if Zu didn't 'fit' the team we need a big for not only backup but for banging in practice...soft practices soft team |

That's ANOTHER good point. I can't remember a trade that was so stupid is so many different ways. Unbelievable. |

Rockets To Meet With JaVale McGee
Quote: | The Rockets’ search for a new big man will include Lakers center JaVale McGee, tweets Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Houston officials will meet with McGee today in Los Angeles, along with Warriors center Kevon Looney, as we relayed yesterday. |

Welcome back, big fella!
Ramona Shelburne
@ramonashelburne
JaVale McGee has agreed to return to the Lakers, where he’ll likely start at center, league sources tell ESPN. It’s a two-year, $8.2 million deal, with a player option. _________________ .... |
