Spitting in someone’s face isn’t quite the veteran leadership I was hoping for

Unintentional. Even Woj noted Rondo had a mouth guard in, hard to spit with it.

NBA's expected to learn two things on case Lakers/Rajon Rondo will make to league: Rondo suffered a cut/scratch under right eye from Chris Paul, which Rondo contends provoked him. Also, Rondo used a mouthguard, which presumably would complicate alleged act of spitting.

And Artest was just celebrating a good play when he clocked Hardin, right?

If you have to try so hard to justify it probably means you are wrong.

Rondo and Ingram both just embarrassed themselves and the Laker organization with their punk ass decisions.

Take the suspension, apologize for being stupid and "caught up in the moment" and come back with more purpose and energy. Lakers need wins, this will not help.

I only hope the League does not use this as a "make an example" opportunity and overreact with the suspensions.

He did spit, whether it was unintentional or not only he knows. We can only assume what happened and well we're all biased. Props to him for punching CP3 after he tried to poke his eyeballs. But the spit... Hmmm... Could be a punk move. I'm neutral on this right now.

Not sure how one is supposed to react intelligently with another person’s index finger in one’s right eyeball.

I don't like what really happened but good to know that there is a tough guy in our team...who can helps us in playoffs.
He still carrying kevin garnett's fighting mentality. A man in a bunch of diaper boys.
Most of the successful teams have one, even Warriors.

Some newer gen players prefer to tweet mean things at each other after the game.

Call me biased, but it looks like CP spat on his own face from the footage. Diabolically played.
