Rondo is going to be chomping at the bit to get back out there.
I feel sorry for his first opponent when he comes back, he will be salty! _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Rajon Rondo broke his hand. “He’ll be out a few weeks,” said Walton.

We’ll get more details on this later; Walton just found out the results prior to his press conference. But he did note that Rondo hit his hand on the floor, presumably when he stole the ball from Nurkic in the 4th Q. Walton said he wasn’t sure and would have to check the tape. |

LOL...so that's why Lonzo got 4th quarter minutes. Silly for me thinking Luke was actually starting to trust Zo. |

I know right?
Only time Luke ever makes the correct decisions is when the injury gods attack our weaker players and force Luke to correct himself. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

So... who plays PG for the 12 to 17 minutes per game that Lonzo rests?
Caruso - scrappy on defense. Can push the ball, not a steady scorer so far.
Ingram - may be a better 1 than he is at the 2 spot, although 3 is where he belongs.
Lance - don't increase his minutes. Please don't.
Bonga time? For just a few minutes? |

7:42 left in the fourth quarter, Rondo fought #10 on Blazers for the board and won the ball, but he stumbled as he was gathering to bring the ball across the half court and braced his fall with his right palm. _________________ NBA Finals 2008 Game 4 post-game reaction:

Rondo is a tough dude, won’t be surprised if he’s back in 2 weeks or even sooner, it’s good to have those kind of players on the team cause they wanna come back sooner then there original timetable we had those type of guys in Ron and Kobe. |

Cool. It would be cool to retain him as our backup PG for the remainder of the LeBron era |

High praise from Zo:
"My whole life I ain't never played with someone like him, or LeBron," Ball said. "It's new to me to just try and follow in their footsteps in a way, just because you can see them get the most out of everybody and the practices are way better than they were last year because they are always challenging people.

Don’t get me wrong, I value numbers, but there is no metric for leadership and spirit — it’s what strict analytic guys will never understand.
Kudos to the front office for understanding the nurturing process of a young player on a win-now team, and shame of you if you think basketball roster construction is ONLY about numbers and metrics.
It’s not. _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter. |

I think Bron and Rondo arguing about the score of a meaningless three point contest, in the first preseason practice, pretty much says it all. Great example for the young guys. Kuz and Ingram will be doing that someday, wherever they may be. |
