Lot’s of physicians and doctors on reddit.

Eh, unless these are the doctors who have actually examined Rondo's hand, I wouldn't put too much stock into their reddit posts.

Considering they have history of examining the same finger Rondo injured, I would take there word.

I have been reading a lot of reddit reactions on the injury and some interesting tidbit I found is that it might not actually be a Grade 3 sprain and the media went ahead and made it worse then it really is...

I actually think Rondo just has a sprained index finger which basically means pain tolerable... Tania must have jumped the gun.

So how do you know random reddit posters are more reliable?

Dr Klapper said you just tape it up to another finger and let it heal. It's mostly pain management. Surgery is rarely needed.

He did say typically and he did not inspect the finger.

Reddit is mostly teenagers, I highly doubt there are "lots of physicians and doctors" on /r/lakers

How is it not a Grade 3 sprain if it is a Grade 3 sprain? That is a very specific detail for reporter's to confuse. If it isn't a Grade 3 sprain they would have reported it as a Grade 1 or Grade 2. Or they would have just used some descriptive, non-medical terminology that wouldn't tell us anything.

So Reddit users have a history of examining Rondo's finger? I mean that is "the same finger that Rondo injured." Or do you mean that they have examined patients with varying degrees of finger sprains and they're speculating that the Lakers medical staff is wrong and they incorrectly diagnosed a Grade 3 sprain and that it is only a Grade 1?

I don't think they have ruled out surgery yet.

It could have been a typo or a brain fart mistake by the writer.

None of the Lakers beat writers have corrected it, nor has the team come out and corrected it. Thus you are telling us that some anonymous people on Reddit, claiming to have medical background and also claiming to have examined Rondo's finger, say that it is not a Grade 3?

He's got a Grade 3 sprain. That's what we know until someone from the team says otherwise.

I know, I’m just saying that some people aren’t convinced that it sounds worse then it is, we’ll know more by tomorrow I’m sure.

So what do your reddit doctors say about this, 2.0?

Lakers' Rajon Rondo: Out one month
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rondo will miss the next month after undergoing hand surgery, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Rondo just recently returned from a 17-game absence while recovering from a broken right hand but suffered a Grade 3 finger strain during his return game against the Warriors and now apparently needs further time off the court. His ongoing absence means that Lonzo Ball will continue being the team's primary point guard.

The one negative about Rondo is injury prone.

The last 3 years he played 72, 69, 65 games. This year only 14.

The whole freaking team is injury prone these days.

Pretty soon our starting five will be: Wagner, Bonga, Caruso, Joel Berry III, and Andre Ingram

Kuz, Hart and Lonzo and KCP have played every game this year.

Injury is the real problem sometimes when dealing with older players
