Both of his injuries were freak accidents, not due to him being injury prone. There is a risk with any player that they will get an injury. |

Rondo at this stage of his career is very experienced. He has gone through what Lonzo needs to go through.
He should be a must to be rehired next year.
Lonzo cannot shoot. Maybe Rondo can teach him how to beat
it. At this stage Lonzo is more valuable but not if he cannot shoot. He will be Shaq without the height, weight, and power.
An experienced coach will really help the Lakers at this stage. |

I think he meant Rondo wouldn't have gotten a full practice in before a game.
But Rondo has been practicing with one hand. Maybe he will suit up? |

Yeah not likely he would play tomorrow. Hopefully GS. I am pretty surprised he is cleared. It's only been 24 days.

Was the injury considered serious at the time of the surgery? Perhaps he is just ahead of a schedule which is typical for a lot of injuries in sports, players come back a lot sooner then there time table. |

Actually I just realized he had the surgery on 12/28 that's only 21 days ago.

Larry Nance only missed 11 games in 2017 with a similar injury?
Missed games from nov 3. And started playing nov 27. But the last game prior to the 27th was on the 22nd due to Thanksgiving. So maybe Larry could have come back a day or two sooner. |

Rondo is like having a coach on the court. What makes him valuable is his knowledge.
And he can still run an offense with the best of them.
Hopefully, he starts playing soon.
Even with limited minutes. |
