This helps us two fold
1) Anthony’s health, Rajon will get Anthony easy baskets
2) Matchups, Rajon studies more film than anyone
Rajon was calling out plays during the Dallas series. He will be an ace in the playoffs. |

I like it if he's a player-coach in very limited minutes. And by that I mean a coach in the regular season and a few minutes per game in the playoffs. |

Definitely, that would be the idea if Nunn and/or Monk perform well. He/Coaching staff can pick his spots in the regular season to insure that he's fresh for the playoffs. |

Welcome back! Great pickup on so many levels. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Doesn’t hurt to have another high IQ player to dissect playoff opponents |

Yeah he's an upgrade over Dudley (no disrespect) and emergency PG. Whoever they added after 12 wasn't going to have much of a path for PT and it's good he gets that. |

These things aren’t as serious as people make them out to be…it’s all on the court.
2 exceptions:
1. Rondo/CP3 because they both will not give an inch. Cut from the same cloth.
2. Giannis/Harden. Harden’s personality pisses Giannis off and Harden doesn’t respect Giannis because he doesn’t fit Harden’s idea of skilled basketball or some would say BS foul hunting masking as “skill.” |

Rondo is the smartest PG now. He is ready to be a coach.
But he has lost more than a step.
He is more of a coach than a player right now. And hopefully he
realizes it. Otherwise, don't sign him.
He can teach Westbrook how to win.
but only if Westbrook agrees. |

I think Rondo has a lot to offer on the sidelines, in practice, in studying game film, in helping develop THT, Monk, and perhaps even Nunn's games, and also filling in minutes from time to time as needed on court as well, particularly if WB needs a game off. Having a backup playmaker is a good idea on this team. He's a smart player, he plays well alongside AD, a very welcome addition. And he's a positive in the playoffs regardless of role. I hope this gets confirmed in the next 2 days. |

I don’t expect him to get many minutes, but he's a great guy to have on the bench not only because of his high basketball IQ, but also because he'll be able to give quality minutes if any of our guards are out due to injuries, COVID protocol, etc. That's the kind of depth that can really help out over a long season. |
