Let Caruso get his chance. I think we need a scorer though, someone who can just give us buckets or maybe Kuz is ready for that role.

He might retire.
I think everyone asked him back when he was pondering retirement.
I'm ok with him resting most of the season and playing in the playoffs.

Opt in. Get inroads to being on the coaching staff. The Lakers clearly like him so maybe he can find a long term home here.

Try telling me that in 2008 when the Celts whooped us with Rondo and company.

Try telling me I'd be rooting for LBJ 2 years ago.

I never thought of rooting for Lebron either but the purple and gold running through my veins is thicker than his annoying fanboys.

I find it rather amusing how many people here are willing to give "Playoff Rondo" a raise after just 2 games.

LMAO Make it 3 games

Most of the guys that get paid twice more than him does not even get any meaningful minutes in a playoff . Rondo was huge for use in this Rocket series. Him alone sitting on the bench in the regular season and trying to find holes on teams that we might face in a playoff is worth than minimum.

If Rondo ups his game to this level consistently in the Playoffs, he can muck around as much as he wants in the regular season and he's still worth a raise.

His playoff performances have been great and so important

Low key, I'd be happy if 3 other role players played soo well in a playoff game. We wouldn't have to rely on Rondo to close games.

Please just please, 1 or 2 games next series just have DG and KCP shoot like mad men in the same game.

True. I said some things about him I’m trying to delete. 😂

Rondo’s disrespectful lob to Lebron gave Bron 2 more points, but ruined his triple double. Thoughts? 🤣

Rondo's been playing very well as of late, gotta give him credit. After an abysmal Game 1 he's definitely earned his keep.

I urge everyone to wait to see how he does against a good (if not great) defense. Houston has been pretty ideal for him.

Houston is pretty sneaky on defense though. They actually have been a pretty good defensive team in the bubble outside of game 4.

Rondo is just performing really well. He always tends to look good when that 3 is falling.

Will he continue to be Playoff Rondo? We will see.

As far as Rondo impersonations go. This is pretty good: https://www.instagram.com/p/CFC5aoKg9vU/

He turned back into a pumpkin in that first half. Hopefully he has a much better second stint.

Was it his brother who heckled Westbrook?

So according to whoever has the Sunday morning espn radio show, Daniel Rondo is not just the brother of Rajon Rondo.

Have you noticed so many of the players showing up to games with tight braids and sleek cuts? Well, William* Rondo is in charge of the barbers and the hair braiders inside the bubble. That makes him a well liked guy in the bubble.

He’s in charge of Mani’s and Pedi’s too.

Too bad Rondo doesn’t “show the ball” on his layups anymore. That move killed me (and his opponents) the first 6 years of his career.

Ive only seen 2 other Lakers like Rondo who can consistently raise their level in the playoffs:

1. James Worthy - consistently scoring average is higher in postseason and best game of his career in the most important game of his career
2. Nick Van Exel - The most cold blooded shot maker the Lakers have ever had - if my life was on the line, I trust this guy more than Kobe, Fisher or Horry

One Edit: Need to add Shaq - even in the 2 series where we got curbstomped by Utah and the disaster vs Detroit, usually Shaquille would be the only player to show up and my goodness a 100% focused Shaquille O'Neal is the best player I have ever seen
