Love him or Hate him. This cat is trying to get the buyout ASAP. I would be surprised he signs here for the remaining 5.6 |

If he wants to come back for 1 year and Lebron endorses it I am fine. Circumstances are different now. It could be a redemption year for him. As long as we put a stretch 4 with him in the starting lineup. The only that would suck is we would have two of the worst free throw shooters in the league. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Why not? I'm all onboard with the All-Headcase Suicide Squad
I don't care much for Howard left the first time. But the direction the Lakers are headed now, I'm like... "the more the merrier". 1 year deal only.
Dwight is still very productive. This team will eat all rebounds. It will have no shooting and will only make about 50% of its free throws. Bring it on! |

I would prefer Brook but Dwight would be 2nd option. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I have strongly supported every move Magilinka have made from day one, but this happening would likely make me vomit in my mouth. |

I still prefer BroLo. You lose out on a lot of rebounding and some shot blocking but I think he more than makes up for it with his combo of interior/perimeter scoring and BBIQ. I didn't realize it until watching him play all of his last season he's an underrated passer as well.
I was worried that Dwight might go to GS but that situation ended up so much worse. I don't care where he ends up now. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

No no no. No. A thousand times no.
Don't care if Lebron wants him. Dwight is a dude where literally the last 2 (3?) teams he's left literally cheered when they heard he moved on. We do not need a locker room cancer on this team.
As erratic as Lance, Rondo, and McGee are - they've been on good teams before and for the most part are known to be good locker room guys (Rondo I've heard some bad when it comes to coaches, but for the most part seems like his teammates love him).
Actually let Dwight ruin Boston's chemistry instead. #GoToBostonD12 |

With the recent move by golden and For that price tag I would welcome him back with open arms.
The funny part is Rondo/Lebron/Dwight is a quasi super team _________________ And Yes, I am the one that coined it "ZO-Time"

Let's not take the bait. For all we know, Golden State signed Cousins to try and bait their opponents into signing Dwight and sabotaging their team.
I agree with the poster who said with all the weird moves after the Lebron signing so far, signing Dwight would be the one that would make me vomit a little in my mouth. |

This whole team has a chance to either blow up and become a circus or be really good and be in contention. I assume Lebron signed off on all our signings so if he signs off on this, the onus is on him to keep the locker room sane and not let what took place during the first half of Cleveland's season last year re-occur.
I will choose to see the glass half full for now though I have concerns for Luke Walton if it gets out of control.
If everybody is focused, on the same page and keep their egos in check, then here are some positive take-aways:
- Howard is that physical presence that replaces Randle
- Our perceived lack of shooting can be rectified by starting Kuzma in place of Ingram (though I think Ingram shot well last year and will shoot even better this year)
- Rondo despite his perceived lack of shooting (has averaged over 35% since 2014 from 3 with over 1.5 attempts per game) may be the other leader you need to keep Lebron in check, lead our bench, mentor and light a fire under Lonzo
- McGee becomes an excellent rim-running tool for Lebron
- Capable shooters off the bench in Svi, Hart, Wagner
- Stephenson gets limited minutes and barely makes the rotation but can be useful at times when switching across board is needed
My only dilemma right now is whether I would trade Ingram, Deng and a pick for Kawhi if Kawhi was fully healthy.

I begun watching the NBA only two years ago, so sure, having decided from day 1 to be a Lakers fan, I know what happened, but I don't hate him as other fans can.
That said, I think he's the best choice on the market at the moment, so I'd like to have him here. BroLo is a close second and I love his personality, but he's too slow and sure, he can stretch the floor, but he's not a great shooter. |
