Lopez has to be the choice to open up the middle. We need additional 3 point threats to keep the defense on their toes. You have someone like LBJ kicking it out and all of our borderline 3 point shooters will see an increase in open looks. That will do wonders for their %.

Bring him on board. He's good as a 5th option, and he's not gonna try to say it's his team with LeBron here.

The last critical position remaining is center.

And if Dwight Howard would take a reasonable contract for a year would sign him. Sure there is a LOT of baggage.

But if the goal is to get better having a good defense center who can protect the rim is essential.

But Brook Lopez provides shooting that Howard can't.

Would take the first player who agrees to a contract.

Hypothetically speaking.. if we signed Howard and traded Ingram, 1st round pick and Deng for a fully healthy Kawhi.. does this team beat the Warriors? Lets assume a sane locker room with good team spirit (hire Richard Jefferson as an assistant coach; keep Channing Frye.. fellow Wildcats and buddies of Luke and Lebron).

C - Dwight/McGee/Zubac
F - Lebron/Wagner/Frye
F - Kawhi/Kuzma/Svi
G - KCP/Hart/Stephenson
G - Ball/Rondo

I am just wondering.. not saying I would do the trade for sure but could this team defeat the Warriors if Kawhi is healthy and locker room chemistry is under control?

I would take Dwight but hire Richard Jefferson as an assistant coach and sign Channing Frye to vet minimum as well.

We need to make sure there is at worst a bridge between Lebron and Luke if the locker room is getting out of control.

That's a great idea. I like it if we have a team option for next year.

Its the only way to cap off this bozo offseason. 2018 will be a punt year while we develop the young guys and prepare for Kawhi Leonard. I'll be okay with the move because we don't have championship expectations right now, even with Bron.

As I've stated before, getting the 4th seed and 50 wins will be a successful year.

Oh man, might as well get Smush Parker, Nick Young and Isaiah Rider back as well.

Would not do it under any circumstances. Would take Melo before him. And I really really don't want Melo.

This is a correct statement. But don't be surprise if LeLakers surprise us.

3 teams have dumped him in 3 years (2 teams giving up assets to dump him, despite his numbers). How many red flags do we need to see? All his past teammates hate him. There is something very, very wrong with this guy.

Hard pass. He cannot seem to fit in no matter where he goes. We do not need any extra distractions this year.

Would far, far prefer Brook Lopez with the remaining cap space. If Dwight wants to come for the vet min, sign him up. I wouldn't have minded Dwight instead of McGee, but need somebody who is at least a threat to shoot at the starting 5 spot.

Net rtg 1.7 ts% 57.7 reb% 22 pie 13.6

All better than Lopez, the fit is weird and he doesn't spread the floor but would be a nice counter to DC against GSW.

What the he'll swing for the fences, it would only be for one year why not? Next year would be a totally new season anyway.
