Are you trying to emulate the Warriors or beat them? |
Are the warriors trying to emulate nash's suns? are the rockets emulating GSW by switching everything and shooting 50 3s a game? How about the celtics?
NO. that is just the future of the NBA. We are going through the boom in data science, teams are exploiting analytics to the max and we need to be one of those teams. |

Am I the only one who thinks that sending away Lonzo to get Lillard would weaken us defensively? Not sure if a backcourt of him and KCP could match up with GSW, since Klay is 6-7. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Lillard showed some signs of improved defense this season....he would match up with Steph...neither are great defenders. Lillard would be a significant improvement on offense. |

Ramona said there could be interest by both sides in getting a deal done but that she finds it hard to believe it will happen unless Lillard flat out demands a trade. |

How would Lillard and Lebron mesh on offense? I've mostly only watched Lillard when he's played against us, so I'm not sure how ball dominant he is or how well he can play off the ball. I also wonder how well he would fit into our fast breaking style of offense. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

exactly what I think it is....Spurs know if they trade any assets to Portland, they will not be able to send them to San Antonio. |

That’s what I think it is as well, either way if everything works out we could be getting Lillard or KL before the season starts.

What about Ball/Ingram/Zu/Deng for Lillard and S&T Nurkic? That’s a little more appealing. |

Magic would be dumber than I thought. The ceilings of our players are higher than Dame. He's basically a poor man's Curry. He does everything curry does but at a lower %. I know our memories of him is hitting everything since that what he does against us, but that's not what he does against the league. Did you see him vanish like a Magician in the Pelicans series? |

Hoping the front office isn't as determined to move our young core as some of the fan base seems to be. |

the player's association's projected salary cap for 2019-20 is 120 million, so that would give us some extra wiggle room to acquire lillard.
edit: never mind 120 million is for 2020-21 _________________ substance over style |

Without getting into the details, a Lillard acquisition would be as big or bigger than Lebron. Lillard is a legit special player, wow. It would be as good as adding Curry to our team, and IMO, even better. Cmon, please lets do this. |

Lillard isn’t a dynamic changer in a conference like a LeBron signing is, but he will for sure help us challenge Houston/GS. |

For off-court effect, yes I agree. But for on court performance, i highly disagree. so what i suppose. But i think Lillard is better than Curry. Having him with Lebron would be like have Curry and Durant on the same team. Even though I also think Durant is better than Lebron. And all the more so given that we stink at shooting.
and if we're talking about Lonzo or BI...well first Lonzo...Lonzo ain't got nothing on Lillard but height, which is important to me. But Lillard is just a little shorter and MUCH better at everything except the tricky passing. And there are only like 3 guys on that level in the league...Kyrie, Lillard, and CUrry. Maybe Mitchell now. |

That would explain the Rondo signing, the old man won’t be able to embarrass Lillard in the playoffs again. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

lol...yes pass on LIllard, let's all go with Rondo. What are you saying, you would rather not get LIllard? That's insane. |

What's insane is your assessment of him. Bigger than Lebron signing, better than Curry. Talk about hyperbolic. Good thing fans can't manage teams. I always get on Curry for tightening up in the post season, but Lillard took that tightening to another level against the Pelicans.
He's a good player, an all-star. |

A borderline superstar point god and one of the best skilled men in the game + we get rid of Deng's horrible contract ?!
Sign me up. Even thought it be bitter-sweet to see BI gone.
I'd make that deal.
