Some bits in the premiere landed better than others, but it made me laugh a whole lot.
There was definitely a ton of humor. I just wish there had been more substance. Most of it was just Sacha performing. Outside of the arming toddlers bit, which was finally reminiscent of the Ali G kind of ambush journalism, he skewered the Left far more than the Right, but maybe that was his intent. And I wouldn’t be surprised if some of it wasn’t manufactured. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

man the part where he plays a liberal guy with the NPR shirt talking about his daughter menstruating on the flag was so cringey...reminds me of when i started to watch The Office the humor was so cringe inducing but i grew to love it.....think it def ended strong and enjoyed the gun segment the most maybe cause like DMR said it was classic Ali G and what i was prolly expecting going in
can't wait for sarah palin one, this guy is a master of disguise lol

He's giving softballs to people like Bernie and Ted Koppel, although to their credit they're smart and decent enough not to impale themselves on their behavior so they get to keep their dignity.

I've been cracking up at those clips one by one on the web(s) for the last few days. "Can I getta woot woot?!" was my fave. I also chuckled at his stereotypically liberal character professing to be a "self-hating white male". The news of that mosque was Kingman, AZ's worst collective nightmare since 9/11. Jayson Williams refused to report to PHX after they drafted him because he said it was a racist state/region. He knew about that if not about gun safety and that was years ago. Amazing the mayor of Kingman had the bollz to claim it wasn't representative of their town. It felt like watching Tremors if the townfolk were afraid of Muslims instead of sandworms.
I don't even know how long it would've taken me to figure out that was SBC, or if I would have. I also liked, "I was in dee Mossad, I mean NOT in dee Mossad for 13 years.", "Here's a trick I learned in dee Mossad, I mean not in dee Mossad..." Jason Spencer, one of the Georgia House's finest. Arizona and Georgia never fail. SBC can pull the same off in those places for years to come. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

The segments with the republican who just resigned and the rubes in Arizona were nuts.
He’s actually giving softballs to everyone. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel

Have to admit, this week’s episode was mostly an awkward dud. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
I apparently don't have Showtime, but I can't wait to watch this. Da Ali G Show per episode is the GOAT imo. Glad he's back to doing something similiar because his movies sucked and I never really expected him to make traditional movies.
Didn’t know about this show until tonight. I’ve only watched the clip originally posted in this thread and some clips of those who were duped (Palin and some former Congressman), but of what I’ve seen this is just all kinds of fantastic.
