6) Clippers 24-18
7) Spurs - 25-20
8) Utah - 24-21
9) Lakers 23-21

Spurs already at 20 loses so that is big for us.

Yea I just looked at the Clippers schedule, holy.

My hope is that Spurs and Clippers drop out, it’s very possible IMO... that means Utah gets in and depending on how good LeBron looks when he comes back we can be at the 5th seed by April.

Spurs and Clippers losing >>> Utah losing ...

I know it sux to see the Jazz get our spot but SA and Clippers both losing is more of a positive for us.

Home losses to wretched teams like the Knicks and Cavs could cost us big at the end of the year.

Clippers making that pull (bleep) out of their ass run against Pels. It was a 20 point lead down to 6 going to 4th. If Pels lose this one, it might be close to sell time for them.

Lmao...

So pathetic that the LAKERS and our fanbase are being reduced to watching other teams to see our playoff chances. Everyone said it at the time and its ringing true here. All those leads we blew in the 4th, all those poor free throw shooting antics late in games, all those Josh Hart 3 point fouls causing us losses will end up hurting us.

There is good chance the Clippers will collapse out of the playoffs. Unfortunately this does nothing for us as the Wolves and Pelicans have plenty of talent to move up with. Nobody on the Lakers can step up. Kuzma taking over games is our best shot.. it'd be nice if Ingram could catch and shoot and do more, it'd be nice if Lonzo was more consistent with his aggression but it isn't a thing.. Don't even get me started on Hart.. Seems unlikely unless Lebron comes back around the suns-wolves game and goes playoff get out of my way mode for us.

This is sad, but not a real surprise. We knew if Lebron missed extended time we'd be in trouble. Losing to the Knicks and Cavs, though...

Truth is, as long as we get in and we're healthy, only team I don't want to see is Golden State. If we're the #8 seed and play the Nuggets? Bring them on. Lebron is that good.

So basically the Lakers dumb fo went with LeBron only strategy and got buns in behind when he goes down.

If he doesn't come back soon the season is over and we about to go in lottery again and draft another bust

As expected. This team without Lebron is crap. Iam not expecting to see us in playoff unfortunately this year. Maybe tank thread is more expected than playoff.

Pretty crazy that we are now 9th and out of the playoffs. What a free fall since LBJ (and Rondo) got hurt. If anything, was hoping that our young core could finally shine and show the world that they're ready to take a major step forward, but going 3-7 after LBJ got hurt isn't going to cut it (we are also being outscored 4.2ppg on average in the last 10 games).

Lakers are really competing with the Clippers for that 8th seed. Jazz and Spurs will be above Clippers by end of season.

We live to see 8th for another day.

Tomorrow's games that matter:

Nets @ Houston

Spurs @ Mavericks

Pelicans @ Warriors

Jazz @ Clippers

I'm conflicted with who I want to lose between the Jazz and Clippers.

Lakers are only 2 games out of the 4th seed and even 3 games out of the 3rd seed. If only LeBron didn't get hurt, Lakers would have been a guarantee top 4 seed this season. Long as they can hover around or above .500 when LeBron comes back, team should be in good shape to make a push post All-Star break.

The Jazz. They have 21 losses and Clippers have 19 losses.

need clippers to lose. they need to be the team that misses the playoffs. Plus it also helps our plan B FA signing with adding more reason for Tobias to leave the Clippers

Thanks 32 and audioaxes.

I thought we needed the Clipps to win against the Jazz since we are tied with Utah for 8th but now I will root for the Jazz.
