Watching a guy like Embiid ice three clutch freethrows makes me jealous.

WB fouling out was the best thing that could have happened for OKC.

This is where Simmons can be a liability.

He had to hand it off because he can't shoot.

He should have just kept going to the basket. At worst, he gets a look from inside of 8 feet, or he goes to the FT line. Yeah, he didn't want to go to the FT line.

He didn't even have to hand it off. He has the ability to drive it down their throats. But fear of free throws is another factor.

Yeah, this is why I don't get why everyone keeps anointing him as the next big thing... They could have even fouled him intentionally.

It's such an issue that he can't shoot free throws or from distance... at least Ingram has a midrange and Lonzo has a three ball.

I see our guys improving their shot before Simmons does.

He'd rather be a big fish in a small pond than the expectations of being a star in LA as a Laker. He doesn't have to worry about any scrutiny in OKC and the blame will go to Westbrook. If he was a Laker, he would get the blame if the Lakers lose, and LeBron would get the credit if they win. Paul George as your best player isn't getting you close to the finals and a 2nd round at best in the West, but as your clear 2nd best player your a title contender. But, he choose to be the best player on a non title team instead of being on a title contender, so that tells you all you need to know about his mentality.

Simmons is a much better player than Lonzo or Ingram, but I can't disagree with you that his total lack of a 3-ball and the FT shooting are legitimate issues.

and this is exactly why the 76ers should sign DLO this summer to pair up with Simmons.

He was no where to be found at the end of that game.

Sucks that our competition in the west is winning games, but we can only be concerned about ourselves.
