If I was a Kobe only fan, living in the Bay I'd probably be a Warriors fan right now. DLO was my favorite player on the roster when he was a Laker.

It's natural to have favorites, I like keeping up with players cause it makes the headlines more interesting to me.

I'd root for the Lakers over any of these players. and yes, I was a "Kobe" fan. Why are we putting quotations around "Kobe"?

Because those types of fans are the same ones that are putting graffiti on the LeBron murals all over Los Angeles. They aren't Lakers fans. They are "Kobe" fans. Lakers fans root for the team, not for the individual player.

That's an assumption.

It's been all over the news.

No one knows who's vandalizing these murals. It could be a group of people, it could be one person, it could be a Lakers fan, Kobe fan, Clippers fan, GS fan, random LeBron hater, whatever. Anyone that's automatically assuming this was done by a Kobe fan or Kobe stan or whatever you want to call it is just assuming. Assuming to get clicks cause we all know Kobe vs LeBron gets people talking and people have nothing to talk about right now.

All the white players

Why should Utah have all the fun?

So Zubac, Mo, Svi, and Caruso? Interesting.

I think I root for Lonzo most because of all the hate he receives. At the end of the day, I root for all our players. If you are not rooting for everyone, you are not really a Laker fan.

Plus I half root for the light skinned bros

I mean, to make it to the NBA despite the physical disadvantages and the discrimination is nothing to laugh at.

I have guys that I am more interested in or more invested in.....but I do not have one single guy that I would consider a clear favorite.

- I think Ingram's success is most critical to the team going forward.

- Would love to see a guy like Beasley finally play near his talent level/potential.

- Zubac getting back on track and looking like he has NBA starter talent/ability would be big for the team.

I guess I am kind of more bias towards NBL's (natural born Lakers ), but as long as we win games.....do not really care a great deal about who gets us there.

Since last year's summer league Kuzma is my favorite Laker.

I like that LeBron James guy too.

It's probably a toss up between LeBron, Lonzo, and BI. I can't say which I have more affinity towards, if any. Randle was one of those three, but he's gone now.

I haven't seen any posts by Kobe fans about supporting the vandalism. The only posts I've seen are by people who dislike Kobe saying it was Kobe fans that did it... The antagonizing needs to stop. What happened to the stickied thread

Kuzma and Hart are my favorite Laker players. I can't put Lebron in there yet, because he hasn't played yet and there is so much expectations. My favorite of the new guys is Beasley, because I'd like to see a redemption story, sort of like MWP getting to win a championship.

The only guy I do not like is Deng. But if he gets to play, and he has his time machine send him back about 4-6 years, then I'll actually consider him a member of the Laker team.

I have a feeling that projecting a fan base to love a rookie knocking down shots is not exactly going out on a limb...

First, come players drafted by the Lakers using low draft picks who will eventually (hopefully) become solid NBA starters (or at least excellent role players): Hart, Kuzma, Svi, Wagner, Zubac, Bonga.

Next comes the players obtained with high draft picks: BI, Lonzo

The multi-year star: Lebron

The 1-year rentals: Rondo, KCP, Beasley, McGee, Stephenson

Finally, a player that hopefully contributes **something** this year: Deng.

Favorite as in the guy you like to watch play the most ?

Hmmm, having difficulty coming up with one guy who stands out from the others. OK, Kuzma and Hart by the tiniest margins.
