come on man, we're still posting ppg stats in 2018?

TS%
Ingram: 47.4%
Kuzma: 54.9%
Tatum: 58.6%

Block/Steal%
Ingram: 1.1/1.3
Kuzma:1.0/1.1
Tatum: 1.7/2.0

Tatum was better.

Dude you posted posted Ingram's TS in his rookie year. He is a completely different player. Dont forget he came into the league pretty much a year younger than every other one and done. Also Tatum had the luxury of playing under legit stars and veterans.

Kobe has also mentioned Lonzo’s name soooo....

This thread has always been idiotic imo anyway. Hakeem trained so many players from other teams than the Rockets. But some don’t broadcast to the entire damn world because it doesn’t matter.

BI probably already worked out with Kobe. And he’s primarily working with Stackhouse for physical training. But we don’t nor do we need to hear about it just to conclude a player having a good work ethic or not. The fact that people here went bonkers over this with Tatum was just annoying.

Kobe himself did post "why didn't the lakers draft tatum"...so that's somewhat provocative news. maybe you should point me too where the deep intellectual lg discussions are, because i haven't seen one in a looooong time here! jk everyone, you guys are supersmart, especially the mods dont ban me.

Kobe will work with the young Lakers but he's not going to chase them. When and if they are ready, they'll go to him. And if they don't, then maybe they don't really have what it takes.

How crazy would it be being one of the Lakers youngsters. They have the chance to pick the brain of, work out with, or play with either Magic Johnson,Kobe Bryant, LeBron James.

Yeah Kobe mentioned on Alex Kennedy podcast that BI had wanted to workout but hadn’t reached out yet to make anything happen. I think Kobe is available to everyone but they gotta reach out.

Shoot he wasted time training Wesley Johnson LOL. I’m pretty sure he’s open to helping anyone

When players used to ask Kobe about advice he received from Michael Jordan, he'd tell them (paraphrasing) "Michael is a holy monk living in that temple at the top of a dangerous mountain. He'll help you but I'm not going to give away that information for free. You have to make that climb to the top of the mountain yourself."

Kobe now lives at the top of that mountain with His holiness. If players want his training they have to make that climb and reach him. He isn't going to come down and offer his services for the lazy. You have to first prove your dedication by reaching him.

I kind of hope not. That would mean we lost out on the FA we have lined up pieces to acquire.

While I agree on Tatum being better, their roles were completely different, which I strongly believe led to Tatum's efficiencies and Ingram's inefficiencies.

Boston isn't exactly making Tatum run an offense.

Ingram OTOH, hit 40% of his open 3-point shots.

Lonzo in the meantime was it the bench not missing free throws which eh otherwise would have done.

By ”next year” I'm sure that Jim was referring to this upcoming season (2018-2019).

Lonzo Ball is recovering from knee surgery.

Even so I don't necessarily see them training together in the future. Lonzo's dad already put a kibosh to that relationship before Lonzo even played a game for the Lakers. Which is fine but I don't necessarily expect Kobe to be the one to reach out and ask to work with a young player. If Lonzo asked I think Kobe would gladly do it. I just don't picture that relationship going anywhere from Lonzo's end.

Obviously Lonzo has Magic/Lebron right there working with him in the foreseeable future. So he will have legends helping him either way.
