Would he take Troy's minutes of sitting on the bench?

The other option is sitting on the beach somewhere.

Hopefully he is getting in game shape because he has a chance fix his image by sitting on the bench. You know there will be an opportunity for him to step up at some point.

Waiters or Trey Burke would be nice additions.

Two good games in a row for him.

Prob with waiters is I could see Vogel giving him mins instead of Caruso and keeping Rondo in the rotation which would overall be a net negative

I don’t think he has the guts to full out bench Rondo

I think you're right.

I've been thinking of ways to keep Rondo in the ten-man rotation yet essentially make him a third-string PG.

On paper he's the backup PG, but in reality there's another guy in that second lineup who gets the brunt of the minutes on most nights as the James replacement.

I know the reaction will be quite negative, but here's my roster:

PG - James - Rondo - Horton-Tucker
SG - Bradley - Pope - Cook
C - Howard - Morris - McGee
PF - Davis - Stephenson - Kuzma
SF - Green - Caruso - Mbah a Moute

Stephenson would be slotted as the James replacement in the offense, facilitating and attacking when James sits. Rondo would get any leftover playmaking minutes.

I wanted Jackson several times, including the draft. I would have been wrong because Tatum is the right answer, but it always comes back to Jackson for me.

Shipping Daniels out for someone like Dion, JR or Lance I still don't think is needed. It looks like we're going to see less Rondo minutes in the future now with the rise of Caruso's form and the signing of Kieff anyway, so I don't necessarily see the point now. We've made the upgrade I've wanted to make, now let's finish the season strong

If we were to make another move though, I'd take them in this order: Dion (still a bucket IF his head's in the right space), Lance (actually did well for us last year and probably fills some of our needs), JR (cooked IMO)

Good post.

I'm going to be slightly less polite to the Jehovah's witnesses when they next come knocking at my door.

I've seen names like Ryan Anderson, Josh Smith, Luc Bah Moute, and Monta Ellis thrown around. They say if you throw enough (bleep) at the wall something will stick. I just laugh and keep scrolling.

Not sure, but I believe he’s originally from Memphis. I could be wrong. Sometimes home is the best place when (bleep) goes wrong.

Morant, Brooks, Jackson, Jackson Jr, Winslow Jr., Clarke. Damn, give me that over any combo of Russell, Randle, Ingram, Nance, Ball, Bonga, Moe, Svi, Hart and Clarkson. And I loved those kids.

He was a no for the draft but I thought he was a buy low trade guy.
