Zion.

I'd take Ingram or Tatum. I still have questions over Zion's health. He has knee trouble at 19, that's not conducive to a long career.

Zion, the LeShaq hybrid

Kuzma’s minutes have been decreasing in recent games, as a Kuzma guy I have come to a realization that he gets moved this summer as part of a package to bring in Spencer Dinwiddie or another similar 2nd tier talent.

I hope Kuzma finds a team that helps him grow into a player we all expected him to be.

I see the Kings as a more realistic destination, Luke is familiar with Kuzma and will help him find the role he can excel in.

I was thinking more of Buddy Hield.

Would love to get VanVleet if the Lakers decide to dangle Kuzma this summer.

Ironic that Kuz loves the Hollywood lifestyle so much and we talk of him being shipped to Sacramento or Utah.

Kuzma played college ball in Utah he might find comfort going back there.

30 second clip in link:

Not sure how ready he is, but my favorite part of Waiters game is his ability to score & create off the dribble. Whether that be in ball screens or isolation, with LeBron really the only guy currently who does it consistently. Last year he also shot 44.7% on spot ups (93%ile).

Haven't put much thought into it but I really think Conley maybe on his way out of Utah. He is now going to come off the bench and I'm sure he's not happy about that.

Tatum.

At just 21, he's already shown he can carry a franchise. I don't see that yet on Ingram right now.

I would take Zion too, but need to see more from him and see if he can stay healthy.

Conley started decline last season. Pass.

JUST IN: The Jazz have now decided to instead remove Joe Ingles from the lineup, instead of Mike Conley Jr., league sources tell @ShamsCharania and @Tjonesonthenba. Story developing with more details to come shortly.

We need to take a flyer on a young wing this offseason. Something to mitigate the loss of Brandon Ingram, because that dude will be great. Maybe a Winslow, a Josh Jackson, or a Oubre type of player.

We do need more active and younger wing defenders.

I just don’t see Kuzma, Green, Rondo and/or McGee being the vessel to get them.

Conley gets moved to the bench and people think that's a coaching success?

Swaggy P confused emoji

One man's failure in coaching is another man's genius I guess. IMO a coaching success is making Conley work with the starters.

I might lean Tatum, too, though he has a more veteran roster around him and a superior coach.

Agreed...you may be able to get a Crowder/Harkless type but nothing elite.

On the books for 34 mil next year. Don't think he's going anywhere unless they package him with picks for...Chris Paul?

Jackson is a free agent. Would have to be a sign and trade I guess. IDK.

I might be in the minority, but I'm really excited about the potential of getting Dion. I think we have the locker room and vet presence in place to check him if he ever gets out of hand (which is the reason why he is not on a team right now, it has nothing to do with his skills). For the final 6 minutes of a game, I can see a potential lineup as follows:

Dion Waiters
KCP (or Caruso)
LeBron
Markieff Morris
Anthony Davis

That lineup matches up pretty well with the Clippers closing 5. Dion provides an additional scoring threat on the perimeter when defenses key in on LeBron and matches up well defensively against Lou. KCP provides spacing and off ball movement, Keef provides spacing and defensive versatility, and AD will do what he does. They key is that all 3 role players are 3-pt threats with the caveat that Dion can also break his man down and score off the bounce, a much needed skill set for this team.

I understand much of LG is against this signing, but I think after a few weeks under his belt with consistent minutes (12-20 min/game) he will win the majority over

Ya know how you stay in Hollywood and avoid Sac or Utah? Work your butt off and show more interest in improving as a professional basketball player than living that Hollywood lifestyle.

No pity here.
