I don't know why he feels playing for Knicks will get him better contract then playing for Lakers in playoffs |

I thought Dolan was petty enough to try to screw over the Clippers due to his ongoing war with Balmer's arena plans. But instead he greenlights giving them Morris?? _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

They receive a 1st round pick for a one year contract player. It would be a fool to turn down that deal |

Would Harkless want to come here? I’d love picking him up, especially over Waiters, but where are his minutes coming from with Morris here? Would he get assurances that he gets Kuzma’s minutes at the three? You’d think he’d want minutes to showcase himself for his next deal if he gets bought out. |

Harkless >>> Kuzma, Morris for what we need
McGee (10), Dwight (14), AD (24)
AD (10), Kuzma (18), Morris (14)
LeBron (28), Harkless (16), Kuzma (6)
Green (26), KCP (22)
Bradley (18), Caruso (16), Rondo (8), LeBron (6)
That's what the rotation should look more like. I'm sure Morris and Kuzma want bigger roles but that's a healthy playoff rotation with great versatility.
Having said that, Moe is not getting bought out. I just wanted to illustrate that it's very doable. |

Bird rights.
It will be a tight market, and if he stays with the Knicks they can resign him or do a sign-and-trade. He loses that option if he is bought out.
He's been in the league 8 years so he's a known quality; don't see that becoming a backup for the Lakers would increase his value at all in the free agent market.

I dont know why he's so reluctant to play for the Lakers by choosing to stay with the knicks even if obviously he's not happy? Does he hate playing with Bron that much? |
I doubt that the Lakers are part of his thought process at all. If he is bought out he can sign anywhere except the Clippers. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

With the March 1 date approaching who are some of the names that would shock us if they ended up getting bought out? Dennis Smith Jr? Jeff Teague? Rudy Gay? |

I would be shocked if Lebron or Anthony Davis were bought out. |

I honestly wouldn't mind DSJ or Rudy Gay if they both get bought out another body and can definitely play. I would certainly take them both over Dion. |

I would be shocked if LeBron and AD weren’t averaging 40+ minutes in the playoffs. There just aren’t that many minutes available. If we do end up with Harkless, I have to think it’s because the Lakers aren’t willing to depend on Kuzma in his first ever playoffs when he’s had such an uneven and disappointing season so far. |

Hark is off the table for us in my opinion. We either look for a 3 and D shooter or PG, it at all. |

I don't know yet, without looking at historic numbers which I'm sure tapped them out, this is a new ballgame. Maybe they keep them in the 36 range until they get behind in a series. Sounds like a gamble, but I'd be interested in what type of game you get from these two.
LBJ doesn't want rest, but we're already seeing more fades and jumpers, regardless of pride he's instinctively altering his game if you play him long minutes. Same goes for AD, I think his game changes with driving and physical contact as well. There are minutes theoretically for Harkless, but regardless I could see them playing the 2 normal minutes to get the best out of them. |

Yeah there is no way that Lebron averages only 34 mpg in the playoffs. In the first round he might not average as many mins...same for the second round..but in the WCF and finals he would be averaging at least 41 mpg, if not more. |

Also, Harkless would have to clear waivers first, right? I can see teams playing nice and letting us get Morris, but I doubt Harkless would slip through that easily. He’s a young 3&D wing, who’s 6’8”, with plenty of experience. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant |
