You got to remember usually when teams get bought, they go for over what the ‘value’ says. I can see it being around 5 billion.

Hot take of the day: The Lakers should have waited the year for Anthony Davis.

Just like they should have waited for Paul George and Kawhi Leonard... and then let that player go elsewhere because we refused to trade our best assets.

Wow I'm agreeing with you.

If the cap drops then AD will be better off signing an extension. With no trade that would be with New Orleans, not the Lakers.

I don’t mind Ball coming back in the future but the Pelicans likely won’t let him go because the chemistry he has with Zion is pretty nice.

In any case it'd be more like Ball to AD...

Seems like Pau wants to come home and play his last season with the Lakers.

He’s a bad fit with Lebron. It would be Mike D’Antoni all over again with Pau shooting 3’s.

Would love to get Pau back, his exit was very sour and it would be awesome if we ended up helping him add another title with the Lakers.

Only this time he is actually a decent shooter from deep. Put him at the end of the bench and let's roll ala the Vince Carter tour.

It is doubtful that Pau would be playing much with Lebron. Or anyone, he is pretty much done.

The beauty of having Pau back is that he would be finishing off his career that he ended up winning multiple championships with.

I tend to agree. Javale and Dwight will be our bigs next year assuming AD resigns. It was working well that way. We need a player on the perimeter who can score and create. Maybe we can draft that?

I wouldn’t assume that Howard is guaranteed to come back especially if he wants to cash in for his last contract, I know he probably prefers to stay because of how well the redemption story went this season but if someone like the Clippers takes a chance on him especially if Harrell walks in FA then there is a chance that Howard bolts.

I doubt that both Howard and McGee return.

I expect Javale will opt-in. I have no clue what kind of offers Dwight will get or what he'll decide to do

You need the players to win that championship... not a corpse.

I would love to have Pau back but he has almost nothing to offer from a rotation standpoint.

Pau is turning 40 in July and he hasn't played a game in 18 months. I'm not sure he has anything left in the tank. I wouldn't waste a roster spot on him out of nostalgia.
