Thank's IG. Seems like Giannis was really listening to Stockton. His body of work just commands respect. When I think of the PG position, I think of Magic, Stockton and Kidd. Kidd is leaving and Magic probably is not going to join our coaching staff, so why not add John Stockton?

JR was a horrible signing. That man is so washed up and not good for a team

Not sure if any of those guys get playing time with Vogel because of their defense.

But I'm not saying JR is great on that end either.

Neither of them four can guard a pylon but three of them are brighter

the most impact JR will have to this team is when he's in home-quarantine

Woj responded F U in an email to a Senator. That job with the Clippers might be on the horizon if ESPN moves on from him.

Nice, that’s a good 1 so far I like the Stockton and Fizdale suggestions.

Fizdale has a close relationship with LeBron so you know LeBron would fully support the hire, having Vogel and Fizdale on the bench would feel like we have 2 coaches leading the team.

I think Fiz is more likely to get a head coaching gig. I wasn't impressed with what he did in Memphis or NY, but he seems to have good relationships and a decent brand. Maybe just needs the right situation.

I think Fizdale is better off becoming a top assistant coach similar to Jason Kidd so he can have a better chance to get a coaching job somewhere, Kidd might end up getting the Knicks coaching job and that is all thanks to him accepting the assistant coach role with the Lakers.

More importantly.. he's a LeBron guy. If Kidd were to leave, Fizdale would make a ton of sense: Vogel, Fizdale, Hollins, Handy. Very solid.

^ isn't the plan to get a Giannistan? I mean isn't that the Knicks' goal with Kidd and wouldn't the Lakers try to match that move?

Ya'll think Giannis will get any sort of f**ks about Jason Kidd after experiencing a real coach like Budz? Doubt it. We already made the move to get the inside track on Giannis -- and he's got the same last name.

It comes down to:

a) will LeBron take a big pay cut to virtually guarantee himself more rings
b) does Giannis want to join a team with LeBron on it

If I am Rob when the time comes, I am trying to sell Giannis on becoming an all time great duo with AD and to do it the the most modern start of pairings.. two near 7 footers with wing athletic ability, big man size, and guard skills. Imagine a front court of AD/Giannis with shooters and defenders all around them + a ball handling guy who can initiate too. That should be the sales pitch. LeBron might be in the way of that but is TBD. Either way, Kidd is not a deal breaker.
