I don't see the Sixers trading Richardson for Lou, and even if they did I don't think it moves the needle for them that much next season. And then the year after Paul George will suddenly remember he was a Nets fan as a kid and we'll be done talking about them |

any thoughts on Nando De Colo? 40+% from 3 each of his last 6 seasons in Euro League. Very good FT shooter. Decent playmaking skills from what i can tell off youtube highlights. |

The only name of interest is Paul Zipser. He flashed talent during his time with the Bulls and was wondering what happened to him after his injury.
Edit. Btw is Ante Zizic just too stiff and a defensive liability for the NBA?

A few years back I believe he was a name being mentioned as a potential NBA pickup. Kinda old now. |

That'll be interesting. I would think the Clippers realized their guards suck on defense. But a big part of the Clippers regular season success was due to Lou's offense. I don't think the Clippers would trade Lou for anyone less than Richardson though. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

Yep. It's gonna have to be Lavine and Lonzo in the backcourt with AD. Bright future. |
I'd like to know how we're getting these guys. |

Hey, that's Rob's job. |
LaVine would be great on this squad....
kuzma/28/filler for LaVine
Avery/mcgee for Zo
lol, then i wake up | LeVine would be close to ideal. Something like Green, Kuzma, THT and #28 for LeVine and Felicio. |
Lavine would give opposing offenses a defender to target _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Can he adapt to sharing the ball? He is really ball dominant with the Bulls and st times seemed to be going 1 against 5. |

Yea, not sure why the guys above want him so much.
I'd much rather have a Bradley Beal type of player. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

With that being said, 55% of his threes were catch and shoot, so he can play off the ball and he shot nearly 50% from corner threes, which would be phenomenal with lebron and ad. Some one mentioned Beal. I would prefer Beal, but he would probably be more expensive. I also wouldn't mind Hield. |

If the Lakers end up winning this series and the next one fairly easily, do you think that will make some veteran players either more willing to resign with the team (eg, Howard, Bradley), or more willing to join the team at a discount?

I dont see their age as much as a problem. Keep their minutes under 20 and they will be good. Rondo will be injured anyway many times during the season. Nothing new there. Important he is fresh for PO. Dwight seems in great shape after losing weight and pressure on his back.
Morris is 31. He is at his peak anyway.
These three should back for sure.
I would get rid off McGee. IMO useless player on court but good chemistry guy on the other hand.

I believe we are sleeping on Cacok. He has the potential to turn into a rotational big. Would also like to possibly bring Jemerrio Jones back on a 2 way. Remember the big impact and crazy he energy he bought to the Lakers closing last season out? A true DAWG. |
The love affair with Lonzo is just irrational. Lonzo adds nothing of value to this team.
Josh Jackson, Wood, Melton, Malik Beasley. |
What does Jackson add? The other 3 guys are MLE+ players. Lucky to be MLE range. |
I don't expect him to add anything. He would be the 15th man with upside.
Last year, he seemed to mature, so this year he could potentially take a leap with the right player development coaching. |
He matured because of team situation.
But I don't think it's a fair assumption that he'll settle for a vet min. |
It's that or Europe. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

Bench role, 10-15 minutes a game. We will see if we can retain anyone of them. Good chance we can but sometimes money talks and when a nice retirement check is offered, priority can make it challenging as they are not getting any younger. Winning and happiness can be a great equalizer for few mil though. However, what if Clippers offer their full MLE to Rondo. They need a playmaker and a leader for their playoff run. |

I appreciate this is semantics, but your "core" are the key guys you expect to move forward with. I wouldn't call a 24-year-old player on a two-way contract part of the core. If you're not instantly penciling someone into the rotation, I wouldn't consider them core players.
I also wonder if you would be exciting about Kuzma, Caruso, and Cacok if they weren't on the Lakers. At this moment, none of them seem like anything more than serviceable. |
When I say core, I mean rotation parts. All the players listed has the potential to be a top 10 player on a championship team. 4 already is(Wood/Zo/Kuz/Caruso)andwith further development in a year or 2 the others will be. THT is already knocking on the door. Cacok will continue to get better. Jackson has the talent, just has to find his niche. The good thing about us, we are vet heavy. So those guys would have plenty of time to develop over the next year or 2.
AD will still be here. Will just have to find that 2nd star somehow. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |
