DB! Pete and Anthony gave you love last night on the Locked On Lakers Podcast!

Didn’t like how they talked about us in the past tense, like we don’t exist anymore, but I’m glad they showed you love! You deserve all the praise you get!

Makes sense.
Lonzo and Fultz and Josh are the top guys from the draft who didn't get the bag this time around.

What does this mean?

Does MIA have room for Giannis? He shares the same agent with Bam!

Given the fact that they share an agent, Bam's contract will tell us a lot.

LOL. I thought the same thing.

Guess we'll just have to count the stats on that. How can a player with this film reel from 2020 alone plus all the charges taken be considered a defensive liability?

Athleticism matters

However intelligence can make you faster, if you know where to be and when to be there, if you’ve seen every look, if you’ve played against every current NBA all star wing and know their games, and your talented defensively then you can make up for being a little up there in age

So I foresee him doing that

It’s why iguodala has survived as long as he has

If your brain moves faster than the guy you’re guarding you don’t need to be as athletic

I think Matthew’s was a shockingly deft pick up by rob. It’s one that improves the team in a way that will be unnoticeable but very real

And I believe he’s looked at as respected as Danny green when it comes to shooting

Hopefully he doesn’t succumb to the laker minus 2 percentage points shooting curse

👍

Most still believe Green is a better off ball defender though. Well, not sure if most, but some because he has height and can help disrupt shots as a helper. But we'll see how Wes does.

Along with his defense, I'm hoping for a more consistent 3 ball than Green.

Excellent clip to show young players.

Make your man go left. He beats you going away from his shooting hand. Tip your cap.

Defense 101.

this will be like Mike Trout signed rest of his career with the Angels. good luck finishing up your career ringless in Milwaukee. no i'm not being exaggerated, that team even with the addition of Jrue Holiday and Middleton, lacks a 2nd or 3rd star. i don't see any big names gonna sign with Milwaukee just to play with Giannis. his game is not an alpha 1A type of player who can single handily wins a title, so yeah if he decides to do that, then more power to him.

People are gonna be surprised, man. This guy plays HARD. And now he’s not going to be playing with Lou in every lineup.

Also, screw that Deng contract.

Just get the supermax and then ask for a trade if your team sucks.
Not a fan of that. But he has the right. And the team has the right to say no.

Damn...shoulda pulled a Costanza and left the room on a high.

Anyways let’s say Marc doesn’t retire...having him on vet min salary is still a win!

vas...thanks for all of your posts. It's looks like you've been pretty spot on for the most part. Rob looks like he's got this, but I hear there may be a job opening in Milwaukee. They could really use your help dawg.

(bleep) dat...I’m aiming for Rob’s spot. As long as I don’t turn my back in him, I think I could take him. Wait, on 2nd thought, going to Milwaukee means...man I’d get so fired, but at least he would be in LA.

Speaking of which, Riles bargained all this 1yr deals this offseason, only to turn around and extend Bam and gave his new deal leak into cap space next year for...wait something ain’t adding up. But then again, Riles was capped out last summer and still found a way to get Jimmy, so there’s that angle.

Bam and Giannis have the same agency. But so too does Shroe, Wes and Kostas. Things are getting weird.

FYI, the only way a retired player is off our books is if we apply for the same Deng exclusion in that Marc suffered a debilitating career ending injury which impacted his ability to honor the 2nd year of his deal. Frankly, I wouldn’t want that for Marc and it wound be immoral and ridiculous to ask him to fake that type of injury. Also another team can trade for a retired/injured player as long as they waive his med evaluation, but what team would do that?
