He played ok, even on defense, but if you expect him to play defense like Kieff, you are asking too much.

It’s not the defense, if you notice during OT he was standing around when the Lakers were trying to score, maybe the minutes are catching up.

Yeah cause championships are won in November, I forgot

Using your logic then…THT and our team can get better and round out to form as the season goes on. Like you said it’s only November

We have 3 other ball handlers and other needs. Which we can take care but trading tht.

Not saying to trade him for over the hill Derrick Rose for example

That’s kind of his role right? Spot up shooter. Although if Vogel is going to play him 45 minutes, his shooting will be effected

I’m good with trading THT if he gets us a better wing.

But as long as here he needs to play. Cause him popping off raises our floor as a team or gives us a good trade asset.

And as long as he’s here we need to let him go through the growing pains.
He came out on fire his first three games and is now struggling with Lebron back.

Let him figure it out so we can raise his value.

Should have been in instead of Carmelo, even Ellington would have been useful.

Vogel SMH. He really thought we could get away with the same lineup for 3 Ots.

We needed a stop at the end of the first OT and he kept monk and Melo in on defense. Wtf

I miss Kieff. During the bubble run he really was important to AD playing the 5 because he was able to be a tough guy at the 4 position that can rebound.

We then marginalized him the next season because we wanted to get Harrell his minutes.

Then the drummond experiment which messed up Kieffs and Gasol PT

It was idiotic not bringing him back especially with Bazemore playing like poo so far this season, all those minutes he got could have been used on Morris.

Yeah, with kieff, playing AD at 5 is lot easier.

If we're talking about regrets, Damian Jones would've been great for this team. He's still a good rim running/interior presence type player. DeAndre Jordan is unplayable, and Dwight isn't as good as he was a few years ago.

That leads me to another question: I wonder if there's another guy just on the outside of the NBA who can help? Carmelo was that before Portland brought him in, and Damian Jones was that guy before the Lakers brought him in.

The Lakers could use a diamond in the rough.

No, because we were hard capped and needs to salary to sign AD2

Actually we’d be saving close to 40 mil, just my estimate, not a cap expert

Since celtics are not playing well and now their coach called out tatem and brown for playing selfish, how about trading Westbrook and Davis for Tatem, Brown and Horford? We get a way better center than Dj to play defense, Brown can score and defend, and i think Tatem will break out of his slump and has potential to get even better.

This seems to be a very realistic option.

Here's the most alarming part about the Lakers' 10-11 start: they've had the softest schedule defensively and yet they rank 20th on that end of the floor. After tomorrow, they'll have played HOU 2x, OKC 2x and DET 2x. Only team in NBA who will have played the worst 3 offenses 2x.

At least he conducts himself as a pro. When he gets called for a foul he accepts it and plays on. Compared to Lebron and AD who cry like little girls at every call.

The Kings were looking for Monk in OT and getting easy scores off of his defense. Since Lebron didn’t involve him in the offense he would have been better off on the bench.
