I asked Magic Johnson if he thought their negotiation before the trade deadline was a good faith negotiation. “No,” he said.

Just proves the insanity of the FO. They never learn.

Knicks are using an image with Durant in it when asking for fans to renew their season tickets:

2 years older than Kyrie and obviously lower ceiling
MCL surgery in 2014-15

But since then, he's played 81, 79, 80 games, no missed games this season
Kyrie in that time: 53, 72, 60 games played, 9 games missed this season (and counting).

Even a 1-year deal for Demarcus sounds like a safer move.

not an option, Lebron did not draft him....clear message to FO. and I personally prefer no real money spent on Cousins.

If we did this we'd be fined a bazillion dollars for tampering

I don't mind KD going to the Knicks. With GSW out of the picture, we could make the Finals with just adding Vucevic.

The best thing that could happen for us this summer is Durant leaving GS and going East. More important than us getting a max FA IMO.

Yes and I agree with you. I don't listen to them any more, there's better podcasts out there.

Yup. The only two pure basketball pods I listen to consistently are GT's and Nate Duncan's.

Only Kyrie isn’t early in his career. He has had knee problems since high school, another injury is no surprise.

So what do you propose we do this off-season?

It doesn’t matter what I propose. But if we pursue an often injured player then we can’t be upset if he is injured. There are many more options than signing Kyrie.

Sure it does. You want to shoot down everyone else's ideas, so come up with some of your own. Who would you like to see us sign?

Do you want to sign an often injured player? Between him and Lonzo they could miss 50 games a season. I would have traded Ingram or the pick for Paul George and next offseason wouldn’t matter as we could be a top 3 seed. Again, what I propose doesn’t matter.

They wanted both. We all know very well that these teams will not negotiate with us in good faith.

GT and Harrison Faigen were on the last episode of Locked on Lakers, which was pretty neat. They were all discussing the Boston win and the trade ramifications

my problem with that pod is that I can't stand Anthony Irwin

from what I recall the editing is somewhat poor as well

Too many commercials. If GT's on there, I'll listen, but it's just too annoying otherwise.

Tobias Harris looks just as good as I assumed he would be with other stars to take attention away from him. Unfortunately I assume 76ers are willing to pay any price to keep him there.

AD didn’t really help either. If he asked New Orleans he wanted out much sooner like a month sooner, maybe things play out a little differently. But he he basically gave NOH just 9 days to trade him before the deadline.

I would seriously consider Tobias Harris for the 2nd max slot if I were the Lakers.

Philly re-signs him 100%. They gave up a lot for him to let him walk. Butler is a higher chance.

Philly is going all in. They will pay for Butler and Harris.

They wouldn't have given up markelle fultz if that wasn't the case.

Harris IMO was insurance for Butler possibly leaving. I have a slightly sinking feeling that Butler may be the only one left at the dance for the Lakers as a FA.

but he isnt a UFA (i think) so he can theoretically sign where ever he wants. They are still not out of the clear with potential infighting between Butler-Embid-Simmons so maybe the drama from that pulls him to another team, especially if the Lakers can sell him on a Lebron-AD led super team.

Butler wants 5th year. We have his bird rights and are only team that can offer him that. Only way he leaves is if we don't offer him that which I can't see.

I'd take Vucevic before Butler all day everyday. As long as some third rate team doesnt offer him some ridiculous contract he should be able to be had a relatively reasonable rate and have extra cap room to spend on another player.

JJ Reddick
Bullock
Lebron
AD
Vuc

Then please do that. Love to see the 76ers stuck with Butler for 5 years.
