Last year all star game?

This year.

you know its this year because the gear/warm-ups are Jordan brand

We can always count on you for details like this! I would have totally missed it.

wonder what high school or Division III school are they practicing at....because I am guessing Lebron has a nicer locker room off his home court that the one pictured.

Rather max out Kemba and keep young pieces (can trade 1 or 2 for other pieces) or trade 2 of 3 for Lillard?

Would give Carmelo a chance if he agrees to come from the bench
and be a microwave type guy.
It all depends on his attitude at this point in his career.

He has to be hidden defensively though.

Just pulled this from Rotoworld.

Good to see we didn't trade everyone for someone who has no true loyalty to our team.

Has nothing to do with loyalty. AD is spinning for damage control after their antics trying to force his way to LA failed on a massive scale.

So it's better that he's misleading teams into trading for him?

Either he's open to all teams... which is fine btw...

Or he's lying about being open to all teams... which is also fine as he's only just playing the game.

Keep in mind that if he'll lie to one person... he can lie to you too.

Thinking otherwise is like thinking the woman who would cheat with you... would never cheat on you.

Imagine if we traded the entire team to get AD... and then he ended unhappy and signed with someone else.

I'm not defending AD or Klutch at all - nor do I think he will ever be traded to our team. I'm only saying that his words today don't have anything to do with loyalty. I don't agree with that take. They tried to force the issue while Boston wasn't able to participate and it didn't work. Now he has to put a happy face on things and try to move forward.

Davis going to the Celtics would make them a contender and it's not like the Celtics don't have the pieces + Picks that the Pelicans wouldn't want.

It's probably a 2 person deal. Kyrie stays if they land Davis (depending on what they do this post-season).

Did LA mess up big time by not trading for Kemba? His 18M cap hold would have been great. I would have done either ZO/BI, 2019 1st, and if need be Hart.

We would have almost a max (a bit under 30M) after cap holds with a team of Lebron, Kemba, Lonzo/Ingram, Kuzma, Wagner, and Bonga. Could also move last 2 guys if need be.

Would be nice if we could have also gotten a guy like Middleton or Butler for about max if they move on for whatever reason

Kemba, Lonzo, Middleton/Jimmy, Lebron, Vet Min C such as Mcgee
Kuzma is our 6th man

Or we could have gotten a bunch of nice pieces and go with Lebron and Kemba as our main guys.

Marc, Ariza, Reddick, Danny green, Horford possibly, WCS

shouldnt the Pelicans have the same amount of animosity for the Celtics? Before the whole RP-Lebron angle came about the Celtics were angling for a Davis trade FOR YEARS.

They didnt publicly state it as much as we did and have our trade package leaked

Why do people think that LAL leaked their own trade package?

Maybe Rich Paul is running a five month reverse psychology/gaslighting campaign on Gayle Benson.

If he acts like he really doesn't mind going to Boston... if he acts like he doesn't care about the Lakers... then she doesn't know where to trade him to get revenge.

Problem with that strategy is that they already showed their cards.

I just don't want any part of this unless the price for him goes down considerably.

The end game should be to trick Boston into an overpay but not be the suckers who fall for the game themselves.

Think of a reasonable offer... make it... and don't veer from it.

Just make sure Boston doesn't get him for a discount... or we don't overpay ourselves.

Likely not the case, but it was still leaked. Bos has kept (bleep) lowkey

I often think you’re (bleep) crazy. But you’ve got a good point here. Rich Paul ain’t stupid. He usually gets what he wants.

Lakers/Celtics haven't publicly stated anything. It definitely has not been kept low key how much the Celtics have been trying to trade for Davis. Anthony Davis even spoke publicly last year that the Pelicans told him that the Celtics were trying to trade for him but Pelicans would not trade him.

What has leaked about the Celtics recently was that they are telling the Pelicans to wait and that nobody would be off the table in a trade. If Lakers express interest in someone then it's Armageddon.

He said he'll play anywhere for 1 year. I don't think teams will trade very much for him.

Shams clarified on NBA TV that the long-term list remains Lakers, Bucks, Knicks and Clippers. Boston is still not that list. The 29 other teams is just AD saying he'll uphold his current contract and play it out wherever he'll be next season.

However, considering what has happened so far, I can see Rich Paul and AD taking this to the bitter end if AD's traded to an unwanted destination. An injury that goes from day-by-day to season ending or something of that nature.

How about Lonzo and Ingram for s&t Vucevic and Magic 2019 first round pick.
Sign Butler

Hart
Butler
Lebron
Kuzma
Vucevic

Bench: Bonga, Wagner, Lakers 1st round pick, Magic first round pick, Cap exception.

If we strike gold with Magic pick then this would be a good short and long term roster.

Why? Ingram + zo >>>> butler. For now, 3 years, 5 years and 8/10 years

ESPN homepage is hilarious and took his comments completely out of context.

You are telling me there is still a chance? (Dumb and Dumber reference)
