well I'll tell you one thing – I can't think of any other possible explanation
I can, it seems like LeBron seems to have fun during shootaround practice with the Laker players, he seems to giggle and laugh a lot and seems to enjoy the moment, you can’t be that happy and not have a game changer come here this summer, if he knew was there no way out of this, I’m guessing he would probably be more critical of our situation.

A dream indeed.. I think the possibility of a scenario like this playing out is why we shouldn't be so doom and gloom around here.
Kawhi is the guy I have wanted most and would be ecstatic if that became a reality.. Getting him and keeping the youth while filling out the roster with whatever we can would give us a great team without destroying the future.. That starting lineup could cause some havoc defensively as well and help hide Lebron as he ages. If Lonzo and Ingram improve at all that team could be legitimately lethal against anyone.. You also allow Kuz to come off the bench and mainly focus on scoring which I think he could thrive at.
Paul George spoke with Kawhi Leonard about Kawhi’s upcoming free agency this off-season, offering advice as PG was in a similar situation, per @JLew1050.

Just because kawhi calls for advise doesn’t mean he is taking it. It’s all perspective, I don’t care who kawhi calls and doesn’t call. At the end I care about where he signs. Like Kobe said if he can’t handle Laker pressure then better to just move on.

Personally I think the problem is coaching and a system that really doesn't get guys good looks.
I think we will need to hire a coach before we start making wholesale roster changes.
No one is going to coach this squad to anything relevant. Lakers need players and with that, add a coach if there is a high level one to be had. Not just another place holder like so many that have passed. But bring in talent, will definitely change the outcome. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !
