I personally don't think so, based on his record so far.

I'll be happy to sign him in 2020 or for a cut rate price if that somehow comes available.

I think the biggest difference is people view of the young players value, not ADs.

I wonder if people would have traded the Ultimate Warrior for the Rockers.

The Pelicans' newly hired top basketball executive said that coach Alvin Gentry will be retained and that he won't rule out the possibility of talking six-time All-Star Anthony Davis into rescinding his trade request and committing to New Orleans long term. "We have a very long and successful history together with Klutch Sports," Pelicans executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin said Wednesday, referring to the agency, led by Rich Paul, that represents Davis. "Rich Paul and I have spoken about Anthony, and I think we're both excited about what we can potentially build here."

You're just going by all-NBA teams to determine whether a player is a primary, secondary, or tertiary option?

Davis provides more value as a defender and dependent finisher because most of his creation value derives from post isos or midrange pull-up jumpers. I was awed by Kobe as much as the next guy, but running a bunch of precious possessions on mid-post turnaround jumpers - even coming from someone as talented at them as AD - has less utility than Kemba Walker running a high PnR these days. So AD can be considered a secondary or a tertiary option or whatever, but he's most efficient as a dependent player (as are most players) and will only go as far as his team's best initiator(s) carries him.

If a big man isn't initiating my offense - legit running PnRs like Giannis or orchestrating from the top of the arc like Jokic - giving that dude a max is going to hinder my ability to put together a GSW challenger/successor and take away possessions that would be better served running a PnR with a competent initiator. So if AD starts flexing his PG skills and running an offense next season, then he'll be a primary or secondary option on a legit GSW contendor/successor.

None of that means the Lakers shouldn't trade for him. It means they should trade for him only after signing a legit second creator.

The Bulls might consider revisiting trade talks with the Lakers centered around Lonzo Ball, talks that were once held when Zo’s camp said Chicago would be a preferred destination if the Lakers traded him, per @Suntimes.

I know y'all didn't like a swap for Kris Dunn and picks, but Dunn is a bit untapped potential that would be a nice player in the LeBron offense. IF they do trade him to Chicago, would be nice to see him in the return.

Why has he only played 52 and 46 games over the last couple seasons?

Both and send WCJ to NOLA with Ingram and the #11 for AD.

I don’t see Davis as a priority now. First option is a top tier free agent. If the Pelicans trade, I don’t think it is until the trade deadline. If we want Dabis next year, we need the cap space next year.

While I think KD is leaving, this just seems like a pointless interview and they're over it.

Last year he was taking dudes off the dribble. Playing lock down defense. This year he has been silent. Dumb mistakes missing easy layups, you can look at the box score and say "hey he had solid numbers". But that doesn't tell you how he played

Got to watch the game.

At the time the Ultimate Warrior was a hot item. Maybe the hottest when he beat Hogan at Wrestlemania 6 and unified the IC and Heavyweight titles.

The Rockers were a nice tag team but nothing major (as tag teams weren't as big of a draw as singles). But when Shawn Michaels turned on Marty Jannetty and became a singles wrestler, he became the Heartbreak Kid aka Mr. Wrestlemania. Arguably a bigger draw than Warrior ever was. And definitely a better wrestler.

Moral of the story: Lonzo needs to throw BI through a fake barbershop window.
