there's a bunch of teams with a bunch of cap space who will likely sign role players to bloated contracts so its going to be very difficult to get a quality player willing to take under 5mil

KL and Danny would be awesome. But we have a lottery pick too, so the effective cap space shrinks for Danny's deal.

danny green is 31 and most likely will be looking to cash in one more multi year contract for as much $$$ as he can get. I'd imagine he finds someone willing to pay him 4 years-50mil or something like that.
theres no way we can sign Kawhi AND Green.

I'd be hesitant to pay Danny Green decent money on a multi-year deal, given how inconsistent his shooting has been from year-to-year over the past few seasons. I get the appeal, but I'd probably be looking elsewhere to spend my money. |
