Bear in mind that Dame and AD are about 2.5 years apart age wise.

But yeah, Dame's game has really impressed me. Obviously can't go wrong with either player IMO.

WB/PG/Adams/Dennis/Roberson = 123m in salary. Whoa.

I think someone is going to be traded this summer on OKC.

I would not be surprised to see Oklahoma City's new GM place a call to Sam Presti in Los Angeles and inquire about interest in trading for Paul George.

I think OKC will put Adams on the trade block. 25m this year, 27m the next. Yikes.

Yeah, I can't see them trading Westbrook (because it would be the ultimate failure after letting Harden and KD walk) or Paul George (who's a great player).

Adams is probably gone. Wonder which tanking team will trade for him, though. OKC will have to send some picks for someone to take his (bleep) contract.

Hawks seem like a prime candidate.

They can draft and trade this year's pick otherwise they can't trade a future pick until 2024. I imagine Atlanta would jump at a lightly protected pick that far out.

Why Hawks? They have nice big man in Collins. Cheap on rookie contract. + Alex Len

I doubt Hawks has any interest in adams

It's not like Adams isn't good. He is. So they get a good player, one that is overpaid, but a good player and they get draft capital out of it. He starts at center, and I could see a scenario where they threaten for a playoff spot next season.

Also, they can absorb his salary into their cap space easily.

Yeah. I price him in the 12-14m/range. He's a good player, but not worth 25m and was borderline unplayable in close games.

Right, he's overpaid, but it would have to be a team that doesn't really care about paying a guy an extra $10-12MM a year for a couple of years because they realistically won't be title contenders anyway, have a crazy amount of cap space, and, most importantly, would get draft capital out of it.

I think a team like Dallas could be interested in Adams. Courtney Lee has a nice $12M expiring to start the package out.

whats funny is they dumped Harden to escape luxury tax
but now will be one of the biggest luxury tax players with this disjointed team when they could have just kept a WB/Harden/Durant core

For what it's worth in Gilbert Arenas podcast he said he would bring back Ingram, Javale, Kuz and Hart. He said Ingram would be the first guy he brings back next to Lebron.

He said Lonzo brings defense but with Lebron they need scorers and his passing ability isn't as important. He said that only in the context of building around Lebron, and gave the same reason for not wanting Rondo back.

That doesn’t make sense, with Lebron’s refusal to play defense, you need players around him that can take up the slack. Lonzo and Ingram make sense l, Kuzma does not.

If you're going to build around those 3 as starters:

_______ | ________ | Wagner
LeBron | Kuzma
Ingram | ________
_____ | Hart
Lonzo | ______ | Caruso

that's how our depth chart will look heading into the draft and assuming we bring back Caruso eventually.

We'd have our cap space, out lotto pick, the room exception, and minimums to fill that out.

You'd think that is a relatively easy task but not for Linda and Jeanie.

Lonzo Ball/Alex Curuso
Kawhi Leonard/Josh Hart
Brandon Ingram/Wayne Ellington
Lebron James/Kyle Kuzma
Javale McGee

I've posted pretty much my dream roster like 40 times with different variations since the season ended lol. I think this one is the most realistic one yet.

Kawhi and Ellington are our only FA signings, and we bring back McGee.

Most they can offer is this year pick and Ferguson, along Adams. Idk if it’s enough.
