I thought that the discussion was about Ingram, not Ball.

Not long after the Los Angeles Lakers announced Brandon Ingram would miss the remainder of the season due to Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) — a blood clot — in his right arm, reports began to surface Lonzo Ball likely faced the same scenario.
I missed the part about Ingram being giving any type of clearance and I don't understand how an article written in March could be definite about clearance in Mid May.
Ingram is expected to make a full recovery in three to four months, though could be back on the court as soon as eight weeks, according the report. He isn’t expected to resume full basketball activities for at least three months, however.
So he could be back on the court now plus/minus and then back to full basketball activities right before the draft. I have yet to find anything recent (Mid May) saying that he has been given clearance to be back on the court.
But thanks for arguing why Ingram has earned a max contract on the Trade/Free Agency thread. Maybe someone can start an Official Brandon Ingram thread where people can discuss his field goal percentage, his 100% certainty of perfect health, and his future contract situation.
That’s every thread here by the very same posters.

We had no idea. Leave it in the BI thread.
new thread cop?
Let the record reflect.. Ingram wasn't brought up by any supposed "stan"..
I stated that I'd prefer CJ over Dame in a trade, another poster thought it was ironic considering how Ingram plays.

Do you have a link dated from late April to mid May saying that he has gotten the clearance and has resumed some type of activity on the court?

I could swear I saw something in April. It must have been on Twitter. I can’t find it now...so hopefully there will be something in June indicating he’s started non contact basketball activity which would have him ready for preseason.

I’m a Lonzo fan.... but if CHI is as enamored with him as the leaked reports say they are, how about Zo and Bonga for the #7 and Kris Dunn, then signing Brogdon and Klay/Kawhi/Middleton this summer?
Brogdon/Dunn/Caruso
Klay/Hart/Vet. Min
Ingram/Hunter(#4)
LeBron/Kuzma/Vet. Min
McGee/Hayes (#7)/Chandler
We’d have elite backcourt shooting and STILL have #4 and #7 as trade assets or future rotational pieces? We’d keep our flexibility for an AD deadline trade (Ingram, Hunter, Hayes, Kuzma, Hart, future picks) or sign him outright in 2020 when we can go over the cap to re-sign LeBron. Kuz and Hart are still cost-controlled through 2021.

Sounds Good!
Dunn #4 and 7......not bad at all. Dunn really has to step up next year though.
