I wasn’t aware the Nets traded for a 26 yr old who was top 5 in the league. I thought they traded for a washed up KG and Pierce.

You have a legendary superstar player in AD at 26 years of age, and you have LBJ for 3 years competing for the title, what do you expect to give? Besides those 1st round picks will be worth nothing!

AD with Jrue and some good role players around him ended in the lottery.
The pick in 2022 or 2023 won't be 28th or 30th. |

Just curious: if this trade cannot be finalized until July, will they send in the paperwork to the league offices now, or will they wait to send in the paperwork until the FA moratorium ends?
I just don't want some other team to swoop in and have the Pelicans flake on us.
