Looks like a good fit for Melo . I will not be surprise if it will ended up like a feel good story . Blazers do have a piece (Whiteside) that they can move but just waiting for Nurkic to come back. Meanwhile it’s a free look for them before Collins comes back too.

Doesn't it only become a feel good story if the team wins?

Dennis Smith had his first good game of the season. Who I think we should target if obtainable for cheap.

As long as CJ and Lillard are on the team they will eventually start getting wins.

I think our only asset is THT.. I don't see the Knicks trading him for a late 2nd.. early 2nd maybe, do we have one of those?

It's actually pretty decent. He's not Patrick Beverly ( ) but he holds his own.

Why are the Knicks trading him to us? Especially when he's pretty much the big prize of the KP trade (don't know where those 1sts end up, but probably not even lottery picks). I doubt the Knicks let him go unless it's in a package for a much shinier piece.

Also: i don't know what Portland's doing wasting their time with Melo. He solves neither of their biggest problems: perimeter shooting and interior defense. Whiteside is already getting destroyed inside and he's about to miss even more rotations with Melo getting blown by. They're gonna have to score 130 points a game to win. Unless Melo is suddenly a 45% shooter from 3, they're about to get even worse.

I was wondering where adkindo has been. Apparently he’s still very active during game threads and Off Topic stuff. Maybe I’ll see what else is going on on the Darkside of the Forum...

Dennis Schroeder would be a very nice fit on this Lakers team, I hope Pelinka makes a call and tries to get him.

What will Anthony Davis' contract numbers look like (each year) if he signs a max extension with us this summer? Assuming the salary cap comes in at 116 million as expected...

Interesting to hear how D12 "is now" in shape and has cut out all the junk food. Because you wouldn't think it looking at him. He just looks naturally fit. So I can see how just a little dedication can take Howard to another level. Melo, on the other hand, I dunno... Didn't we think he was a shell of himself a few yrs ago? I'll be interesting to see what he has left.

I’ve never been a fan of him, he is one dimensional.

Roughly $34.8, 36.9, 39, 41.1. Though he has 8 years of service so a 3 year deal with an opt out after 2 might be what he seeks. That way he can get a 35% max in 2022 at the age of 29.
