Teams with the worst records in the NBA:

27. Washington (Bryant, Bonga, Moritz)
28. New Orleans (Ingram, Lonzo, Hart)
29. New York (Randle)
30. Golden St (Russell)

Combined record 11-37

yup

the only guy I really miss is DLO and even then I probably wouldn't be willing to pay him as much as he's making

BI is the other candidate but he's nearly as injury prone as Lonzo

Wouldn't be surprising at all. Shame

Clippers came out ANGRY after their loss to the Pelicans That being said with Williams and Harrell (bad defense) on the court they need to come out angry because they're going to give up a ton of points as well.

101 is a lot of points?

Hawks didn't play the last quarter and a bit, seems like they packed up shop because of the b2b.

But yes, 62 points by half is a lot of points. The Clippers defense, the one that was supposed to be best in the league, is currently ... missing. Or maybe their defense was just always overrated.

Is that supposed to mean something or are you just showing your ability to read the standings?

Don't forget Cleveland (Nance, Clarkson) at 4-7 and Detroit (Mykhailiuk) at 4-9. 19-53.

If you really want to extend this, former Lakers pick Luke Walton has coached his team to a 4-7 record so far.

Of course by this logic, both Kuz and THT should be pulling the Lakers down into the bottom of the standings by the sheer fact of being Lakers draft picks. And Marc Gasol likewise should have steered Toronto into mediocrity instead of a championship. But maybe they have to actually play for the Lakers first and then they drag their next team down?

Or maybe not. Still a matter of lottery luck, health, reversing Green's decline, etc. I wouldn't rule them out, but I'm certainly not penciling them into contention in a very tough conference.

It’s an eye of the beholder thing. Lots of conclusions could be drawn, including that it doesn’t tell you much at this point. Another fact is that Ingram, Russell and Lonzo are currently missing games with injury. Injuries have been a concern for each of them so far in their young careers.

I like pulling for the ex-Lakers. Been tough to watch some of the ball their teams have been playing though.

Most teams could say that if they got Zion. He was considered the best prospect in a decade.

Honest question here.

If people on here stopped feeding you by ignoring you, would you develop any semblance of a positive outlook on anything?

Not being negative about our draft picks is positive by definition

If they can trade their pick with Russell for 3 solid players to surround Curry and Klay with ... they'll be competitive for sure. More then competitive actually.

It won't be a sure thing like they were at their height, the loss of KD and the decline of Green will make it harder for them, but with solid depth around Curry and Klay they'll be good.

That's assuming Klay becomes a defensive giant again once he returns. Basketball players don't return from an ACL all too well. His shooting won't be effected though.

They have that $17 mil trade exception to use to shape up their roster too. They are probably waiting for offseason. I don’t think they will attach their pick with the inevitable DLo trade. They are going to get either a disgruntled star or nice complimentary pieces for him. Right now, tank commander is in full effect and ther are letting their young guys swim or sink . The one who can will be part of the rotation next year.

Is it legal if he wants to go watch a Laker game or he can’t because he’s under contract with the Grizzles?

The aspect of the game that matters this year to me: games missed.

Totally legal. I remember back in the day Jordan and Pippen would watch a Laker game. Then play them the next night
