neither was Giannis @ 21

I meant, "How Giannis is dominating now"

Took the Freak 6 years to get where he is, and he still isn't polished.

Saw a good trade idea on RealGM. Ingram to Sac for Bogdanovic and a 1st. Bogdanovic only makes 8.5 million next season (expiring), which allows us to still offer KD the max (with a little bit more maneuvering). I would do it without the 1st. Bogdan shooting 92% from FT line. 39% threes his first two years the league on about 2 makes per game. Currently making 3 threes per 36 minutes. Not a big name or anything, but a player that fits us both functionally and financially.

When BI was born, did you visit him at the hospital and put him in the ESPN Trade Machine?

I think you've wanted to trade him from the moment he was drafted.
Just rather sell high, my friend. He is starting to look more and more like a bust for us. It's a shame we couldn't trade him for Kahwii or PG. How foolish is that looking right now? I just under stand that there are no freebies and that most of the time you have to give up something of value in order to get something of value.

Bust? You gotta be kidding.

He may not be a superstar, but a bust he is nowhere near.

This^^^^^

Ingram Is a legit player, he has shown he can score on anyone and has shown flashes of elite Defense.

Just because he is not a super star now dominating the league like The Greek Freak doesn't mean he is a bust.

Give him time.

He just turned 21 years old and is putting up 14 and 5 while trying to learn how to play off of LBJ after 2 years of having carte blanche for a young, learning team.

There is no part of this that equates to being a bust. Some people seem to think that if Ingram fails to reach Durant status then he's a bust.

I don't hate that with the 1st. The earliest pick Sacramento could trade would be 2021, which could be pretty valuable depending on the protection and how good you think a Fox/Ingram/Bagley core could be in two years.

The issue is that Bogdan's son is really more of a SG and limits the team's wing defense in the short run. If Kawhi signs with the Lakers next summer I could see a deal like that.

Ball
Bogdan²/Hart
Kawhi/Bonga/Svi
Lebron/Kuz
McGee(?)/Wagner

Not bad.

When IG does pushups, he's actually pushing the world down.
When the boogeyman goes to sleep, he checks under the bed for IG.
IG is the only man to ever defeat a brick wall in a game of tennis.
When IG falls in water, IG doesn't get wet. Water gets IG.
IG ordered a Big Mac at Burger King, and got one.

This must mean that the Lakers will be cautious with Ingram as he recovers, with Melo we can integrate Ingram slowly from his injury after he returns.

A key part of this report: “sources said there had been no request made by James to Lakers president Magic Johnson or general manager Rob Pelinka to make a deal for his friend. Nor would there be.”

We didn't sign Melo in the summer when he didn't have this cloud over him. Now we want him?

I don't want Melo in any way shape or form... but I have to say if LBJ can drag JR Smith to the title... he can drag Melo there too.

The fact that the Athletic is retweeting what a Lakers writer said must have some legs considering Oram’s tweet was about Melo’s fit as a Laker.
