The Lakers are not trading Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma or Josh Hart in any trade unless it’s for a star player. |

It sure would be nice. At least the FO for NO is not waiting around "for the future", which is uncertain. If NO gets Beal, the Lakers FO can kiss AD good-bye. But what the heck, KD will still be available...….not! and the Lakers will have all that cap space...…….
Lakers FO should be trying to get Ariza AND Beal (or someone similar), but alas the 2019 Superstar Free Agent Plan. |

Yep, if Sarver isn't trading, no sense in bidding more.
This is just like the league. Pop was never trading Kawhi here, neither was the Indy GM trading PG here. Price of being the Lakers I guess?
This is where I miss the Logo. He has cultivated a lot of good relationships over the years that he could make deals regardless of him being on the Lakers. Not sure if Magic or Pelinka have done that across the league yet, but their tampering couldn't have made them many friends. |
