I don’t think DeMarre Carroll or Jeff Green are anyone to feel FOMO over

This is why you don't sign veterans as your end of the bench players.

Lakers should have been filling the bench with high-upside players or younger veterans that could have trade value.

1 veteran in dudz is ok. But no need to have guys like rondo, Daniels, cook on that bench instead of young guys

Would cut Daniels for Waiters.

Waiters has a chance to be a rotation player and maybe even a 6th man beyond this season.

We wouldn't have Waiters bird's right, and I wouldn't assume he'd sign here next year for the minimum if anyone else offers him more, so I would base my decision solely on what's best for the team this year.

Carroll isn’t the one we want though.

Sure. But same was said about the trade deadline and the pickings in the buyout market is evaporated.

Keeping my fingers crossed that a miracle happens and Harkless gets bought out he would be so perfect for this team.

Harkless is still a potential opportunity 😉

Carroll was supposed to be the Lebron stopper year after year. He never came close.

Yeah it’s him or bust. And we still haven’t improved in the backup PG department.

CP3 should ask for a 100% buyout. We can replace rondo with a dog and make rondo quit all at once.

Lakers are in win now mode, I don’t think they’re gonna let this roster go into the playoffs as is, they are likely waiting for players like Harkless and Reggie Jackson to get bought out.

Why would OKC do that?

I know. CP3 set the tone in the 3rd for that ASG. He played so well Vogel made Luca sit and watch. 😝

Then why CP3? I rather have Doncic or Trae via buyout.

CP3 cannot and will not ever be bought out.
Sometimes folks need a reminder...he has an albatross contract and is one of the highest paid players in the League.

No chance in hell of a buyout...

He is still owed:

$38 million
$41 million
$44 million

They better know something or have some guys in the works because the current roster is not getting out of the West imo.

Our "front office". Do we even know, exactly, who makes up our front office? I know we all guess, but why are the Lakers not transparent like other teams?

IMO, I doubt "they" know anything. They're waiting for someone to fall into their laps, like they thought Collison would. Reactionary, instead of proactive. Good luck with that.

I mean I think we have to face the facts at this point that our FO is lackluster and that to expect otherwise is an exercise in futility

I find it remarkable that a player of Chris Paul’s talent hasn’t made the finals once in his NBA career so far..

Solid plan, waiting on guys to get bought out who won’t get bought out. Kind of like the Iggy and Collison plans. For the record, I don’t think that we have missed out on much.
