Klay would be a tremendous fit in the backcourt for the lakers. If Lonzo stays around. I could get use to watching that duo defensively.

They both are playing with a chip on their shoulder. And I'm wondering what that chip would be, if we never let them go. I guess a big contract? But that's not the same as being let go from the most popular franchise in league history.

For what?

For the best defensive back court in the NBA

That’s an article from July.

Connecting the dots

Klay is coming to LA. Why else would Magic guarantee 2 years

I admire your optimism

Thank ya

People say curry is the best shooter in the NBA. I say it's Klay, my boy has the record 37 points in one qtr. World record! Wilt had 31 in a qtr when he went for 100

Curry is the best shooter of all time. Klay might be second.

That article mentions Cowherd as the source. Since then he has started Lebron-KD meter and Le-Brow meter on his show. He himself doesn't stick to what he says the previous day regarding FAs.

Yeah. Well, KL asked for LA and was sent by Pop to Toronto. KD will never be traded.

But if I'm AD, I say publicly that he hates LBJ and LA and wants nothing with that wretched city.

In contrast, Klay is still saying he will stay in GS...

he also said he is not giving the Warriors a discount...

And they can pay him a lot more than we can

We are likely on the buyers list..Magic probably wants to make sure LeBron has a deep playoff run.

key word is "can"... Durant said he wants as much money as possible. The Warriors cant say no to that so if he signs Super Max they will be insanely deep in luxury tax to also max out Klay.

I agree, I think KD is more important then Klay.

no they had around 10 guys on their board. i dont remember all the names

They had:
KL
Butler
Irving
Klay
KD
Kemba
Horford
M Gasol
K Przingis
Dragic
Demarcus Cousins

TMAC: I see none of those guys coming to the lakers

Barring a small Kcp type move, Magic prob not doing much this year He wants a chance to pitch the big fish this summer. They ALL sound fine with missing the playoffs (which is highly likely) because Lebron is here for the long haul. I bet if they start Feb off slowly they may even shut Lebron down early. Bet draft night and July 1 are going to be big nights for the franchise (see: 2014-present). None of the kids are franchise changers so I’m sure all will be dangled for the Brow. We shall see

Did T-Mac see LeBron joining us last season? I think it's too early to say we won't get anybody this summer.

Agreed. The argument for DLO and Randle is. By the time they hit their prime GS would have aged, split up, and/or faded away (somehow). Like 2-3 years from now.

Maybe but I'm not convinced they are #1 or #2 option players on a championship contender.
