Rondo should not get more then vet min

I have no clue how anyone wants to resign Rondo. He is awful.

Also getting Okafor or C.Wood in the trade would have been nice. Especially with all the picks going out. Good young bench parts.

I was thinking Kenrich Williams...but similar thoughts. This is what GT was talking about on his last podcast....it is not the big parts that make a great GM, but a lot of it is what you do in the margins...the min guy here or the undrafted guy there....squeezing a little more out of a trade that may not seem like a lot on the surface, but will pay dividends in a Game 5 on the road.

you both make good points. williams would have been nice.

i really fear we won't be able to fill out this roster effectively. probably just my lack of faith in this FO.

I pray you are correct....I think that is the only thing that could happen now that would take me from negative on this deal to somewhat positive.

I was just thinking, one huge factor in Kawhi picking the Lakers now will be that with Bron & Tony on the team, the Lakers can afford to easily give Kawhi (and Tony, heck... and Lebron) more random days off and rest. This is a really big deciding factor I think and a huge advantage that we have over the clippers. If he joins the clips he's going to have to play way more minutes.

With 3 MONSTARS we can afford some incredibly valuable rest time until play off time starts.

shouldn't JR Smith be getting bought out this year? Think he only has a $3.8 Million number.

Can you be more specific on the “tea leaves” ?

Kawhi cousin and sister giving hints about lakers, bronny jr followed Kawhi on Instagram. There’s a few .

I would add that several prominent betting sites today have taken down odds on both Kawhi's free agency in 2019-20 and NBA title odds for 2020. (Lakers are currently 7/2 favorites at Caesars, but several prominent sites took their odds down for now.)

Having AD has to make Kawhi give serious consideration to the Lakers if he wasn't before. An ideal running mate for the rest of his career. Championship contention for a decade. Man all they need is a meeting with him, it's an easy pitch now.
