Funny you mention it, I have a friend I haven't talked to since high school that just tagged me in a post on Facebook. Evidently they have stumbled upon an incredible deal on Ray Bans. Let me grab the link. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

I use Maui Jims that cost in the $150-$175 range. Probably bought four pair over the last 15 years or so. |

maybe even less for me....use cheap sports type sunglasses (think they are Ironman brand or something) when I am doing yard work or things that I may be likely to lose or damage them. A good pair of sunglasses should last a long time. |

Yeah, I have a couple of pairs of Maui Jims. Solid lenses and great polarization. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Same. I got Lasik a few years back, and my eye doc told me that cheap sunglasses damage your eyes. Basically, it's better to wear no sunglasses at all than to wear cheap (non-polarized) ones. |

My Oakley Carbon Plate Scuderia Ferrari Frames retailed for $424, while my hi-index prescription, top of the line tinted lenses retail for $350 for a total of just under $800 with tax...
With insurance I paid about $325, as I recall... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

I spent $400 on a pair of Prada glasses when I was in my 20s. I lost them in about 3 weeks.
Without fail, if I spend more than $40 on sunglasses, I break them or lose them. At this point, my favorites are the wayfarer style shades from Vans. $12 a piece. _________________ You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. I’m the opposite. I bought cheap CVS sunglasses for years and constantly broke or lost them. I finally bought a nice pair and they’ve been with me for years. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

That's me as well. I have 3 pairs of Maui Jims that I have bought over the years (different lens colors for different conditions and sports). Since they are fairly pricey, I take care of them and keep track of them like they are my car keys or phone. I have one pair that I have had at least 10 years. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I'm pretty sure none in my collection have cost me more than $50. I've received a few pairs of Maui Jims, Oakleys, & Kaenons as gifts from girlfriends and family members over the years, who know I'd never pay the premium prices they ask for them. _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs.
