I recently saw a mock draft with Jontay going late lottery.
Giles dropped because of health concerns a few years ago and Michael Porter dropped in the last draft.
Is Jontay going to drop to the second round or will a team gamble and take him with a late first?
Will he even declare? If he does, I'd hope the Lakers draft him barring anything odd with his recovery.
I think weight control during his recovery may be a major issue for him.
If he really balloons up that would be "anything odd with his recovery." If he comes in pudgy, but not fat fat, I'd hope the Lakers would seriously look at him.

To be honest, I have no idea how Bol Bol plays, I literally just looked at the mock draft and saw the best Center available.
Any one of Zion, Barrett, Little, or Reddish in that order.

I may be proven wrong (it has happened many times with prospects), but I have doubts Bol Bol is even a legit NBA starter. Guy really gets pushed around. I do not think he is near the level of an Ayton or Bamba.
Bol Bol is more skilled offensively than either of those guys, but rebounding and defense outside of rim protection looks like a big concern. If he shows any motor, a team has to take him in the #5-10 range with his Porzingis-ish upside. _________________ Under New Management

maybe I need to watch some more video because from what I saw....which was at least 6-12 months ago, I would not have considered him more offensively skilled than Ayton, or a better overall player than Bamba.

Ugh, 2018 draft was a very Center oriented draft.
Yeah, unfortunate. Maybe Bassey looks good enough.
