Odd that he hasn't come in for a workout yet.
It's as if the #4 pick workouts are on hold for some odd reason... I wonder... what could it be?

Who do you guys think we draft with the 37th pick?

Terance Mann.

What do you see Mann doing well in the NBA. I have always liked Mann....watch any FSU game and the guy is just always helping the team win, but I get stumped to some degree when I try to meet my own test of identifying what I can see him doing at a high level in the NBA if he reaches his 75+% of ceiling.

He was a good scorer, good rebounder, good passer, good defender with a big time motor in college....but not sure he was better than "good" at any one of them.

More of a do everything type of player than elite at anything?
That might be a good option for an early 2nd rounder?

Didn’t we trade the pick?

This is new Orleans pick that I'm hoping gets attached in a potential AD trade

the Lakers should definitely try to get that pick from the Pelicans to help shore up depth

How do you rank these draft players if they max their potential in the NBA (my top 5)

1) Zion - Barkley like
2) Ja Morant - Westbrook like
3) Garland - Curry like
4) Reddish - Kawhi like
5) Barrett - maybe PG or G Hill like

From that reply this outside of the top 2, you dont see any all star player.

I'm joking about Garland, but no I don't see any clear All-Star caliber talents in the draft after the top 2 - of course, there will probably be another 1-2 All-Stars drafted somewhere between picks #3-60, but the trick is identifying them.

i suspect hold up is 1 of 3 things or maybe all three. Otherwise I don't see how griffin would be turning down Zo, Ingram, Kuz, #4 and future 1st

1) NO owners don't want to trade him to Lakers
2) Lakers haven't offered the godfather deal
3) NO don't care about AD's destinations i.e PG or Kawhi situation

Zion - Barkley
Morant - Steve Francis
Garland - Irving
Reddish - Wiggins
Barrett - DeRozan with a better 3 point shot.

This isn't a big deal, but Zion has very little in common with Charles Barkley outside of rebounding (and Barkley was a better rebounder than Zion).

I mean, our scouting dept should be doing their due diligence until that pick is officially no longer ours.

I brought him up in August of last year on the 1st page of this thread before he had an even better Senior season....that was when I assumed we would be picking late in the 1st Round.
