How bout Juwanna Mann?

Yep. I'm rooting for Terance Mann or Juwanna Mann. One of those 2.
I'm not sure why I'm so drawn to do-everything, non-elite guys.

We need guards. So if Bow Wow gets that MJ sneaker deal. He's worth looking at.

Woj: "Lakers are aggressively pursuing the purchase of second-round picks in Thursday's NBA Draft too, league sources tell ESPN. Those picks will offer two important things for LA: acquisition of inexpensive labor and ability to exceed the salary cap with those minimum contracts."

Makes the draft worth watching now if we can get some picks. Hopefully we find a gem.

Glad to hear this. Hopefully we can unearth another JC or better.

Let's get this into motion. Buy the #54 from Philly. They already 4 2nd rounders this year.

Mike Daum seems like the type of player our scouting department would go after.

Would love it if Carsen Edwards or Matisse Thybulle dropped to 2nd round and we could snag some picks.

Also Admiral Schofield - in part because of the name. 🤣🤣

if we snag a pick or two, I wish they would let us know before the draft. I can have just as much fun pre draft with a 2nd Round pick as I can with the #4, if not more. That said, I assume we will not know until around when the pick was made.

Marial Shayok is a nice prospect and for a sleeper big Bennie Boatwright who is limited athletically but can shoot.

Wonder what's the highest draft pick Wagner/Bonga/3.6M (cover their salary) can get?

Would do that+plus buy 2nd round draft pick out right. We will need to replenish our farm system.

I've gotten to a point where I don't even watch 2nd round guys but just trust what Mike says...

In some weird way, after how reliant we've been on the past 6 drafts and how that has been the most exciting day of the year for us (next to lotto), it'll be nice to not have the draft to dread every year for the next few years.

Hopefully the next few years is prospecting for hidden nuggets. Lakers will need to find cheap cost controlled talent who can eventually develop into rotation prospects.

Malcolm Brogdan would be a best case scenario.

I say target ATL at 35 or 41 or Philly for 42 with all the picks they have.

If I am an agent, I am steering my undrafted free agents to the Lakers with their roster room....I would think we should be able to grab the best undrafted options for summer league.

I decided last week not to run the annual game of draft this year because the 4th pick was ultimately traded.

In light of the Lakers pursuit to buy 2nd rounders...

it could make the draft more interesting.
