I feel Konchar is going undrafted.
I'm guessing you see some FVV in Waters? |

Hmm. Konchar could go undrafted cuz he’s white. Haha. But I think his talent is pretty clear. Still wild to me that Huerter wasn’t a lotto or fringe lotto pick in his draft..
With Waters, I just like all around offensive guards, and I think he can be that. I watched more his Fresh year but his scoring/pull-up chops looked like they could develop into something special. And I think his Soph year he was more heady and seasoned as a facilitator. Same assist% but he looked more measured |

The Cash limit for next season will be about $5,600,000.
Cleveland has #26 (Houston) and is eating the Knight contract for that pick Brooklyn has #27 (Denver) and ate the Arthur and Faried contracts for that pick.
If late first round picks were available for a price of $5.6 million. Cleveland and Brooklyn would have bought them rather than eat multiples of that in bad salary. |

I am expecting them to buy a late second. Buying an early second might not be possible. No idea if they will try to trade a future second and cash for a relatively early second. |

The Lakers need to field a team somehow. Buying a pick might be smart, especially with out scouting Dept. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant |

I think we can find a solid rotation player in the second round given our scouting department. |

And that player would have to either be signed with available capspace or stashed overseas, correct? Still possibly better than a FA if we find the right one. |

Where’s THT going? Early 2nd? He’s a guy I’d be interested in grabbing. Young but has an nba body. |

Same for Bolden.
But if DeLaurier is available, that's the guy. |
Questionable work ethic?
As an athlete Vick reminds me of Miye. Had a real good shooting year.
Bolden is a serviceable big for me. Good height, length with the size to play in the NBA.
My preferences are just based on YT vids as I never specifically watched these players during the season.
I just believe if the Lakers acquire a 2nd round pick or sign UDFA's they will target players they have worked out. |
Vick has proof of offcourt issues, with or without Josh Jackson. Red Flag stuff imho.
Bolden never lived to his potential at Duke. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

I don't think Lakers are going to waste roster spots on 2nd rounders.
I see 0 activity Thursday unless it's trading wagner |

That'd be a poor decision.
Big difference in filling out a roster when there's basically 8 roster spots to fill remaining. Forget 2nd rounders. I don't trust this FO. But young, talented UDFAs?
That's worth it. We did that with Johnathan Williams and Jemario Jones (drafted SBL), so why not do it again? _________________ Resident Car Nut.

If the core of the roster is:
LeBron, Davis, 30% max FA, Room Exception and Wagner; the roster will need 9 minimum salary players if they stop at 14 so there is a roster slot left open for a waived/buyout player.
They could have 1 - 2 young players signed for the minimum that would be in the G-League for the entire season unless injuries forced call ups to the parent team. |

I guarantee that there will be at least one player eligible for this draft on our final roster. It would be a gross mismanagement to fill out the end of the bench with broken washed vets in my opinion. |

I'd take him over Barrett!

Darius Garland will conduct a last-minute workout in Tarrytown with the New York Knicks tomorrow, a source told ESPN. Garland is in serious consideration for the No. 3 pick. Minnesota, Boston, Chicago are teams looking at potentially trading up to No. 4 with Garland in mind. |

never understood why Barrett was always considered an indisputable top 3 pick. His jumpshot is not reliable and I dont see enough from his game that really wows me. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

If Knicks pick Garland #3 and RJ falls to #4 then maybe Pelicans keep it? _________________ Tacos |

Aubrey Dawkins- hope the Lakers sign him as undrafted free agent shooting guard. 40% career average on threes. |

Yep. I'm rooting for Terance Mann or Juwanna Mann. One of those 2.
I'm not sure why I'm so drawn to do-everything, non-elite guys. |
