Because Laron Profit got injured in that game.
I was just thinking about it and I think our record would've been much better with Profit.
He was our do it all guy from the bench.
With a healthy Profit, I believe we'd be a much better team.

Mihm being out lately has alot more to do with our down-stretch that most give credit for too.
He's our only post-threat on offense.
Without him, Kwame's our only solid post-defender, and he ends up in
foul trouble more often, leaving us with on-and-off D by Bynum (understandable
given his age) and Cook's turnstiling.
Not to mention Mihm's top-15 in most every category among NBA starting
centers per-48.
That's one of the reasons why I'm not as worried as some about this
tough streak continuing.
With Mihm back in and our light home-stretch schedule, I think we'll turn
things about.
(that said, it'd still be nice to find a good deal before Thursday) |

Yeah, blame Kobe's 62 for a freak injury. There is no association between Kobe's performance and Laron's injury. I suppose we should've not played Laron at all for fear of a potential injury, just like we should bench Kobe for fear of him blowing out his knees. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

True but they still found ways to maintain winning ways despite the injury. There downfall lately has been lack of defense. No focus! No intensity! It's as simple as that. Injuries have hurt this team but that's everyone. How did Indy beat us and Detroit despite being handicapped. They cam focused and ready to play. The Lakers just don't do that. |

Your post is very misleading.
The title makes it sound like Kobe scoring 62 points was a bad thing.
As if that caused Laron to get hurt.
That leaves two possibilites.
1. You are a troll who has run out of other negative spin and had to resort to this incredibly dimwitted attack on Kobe.
2. You are not very smart.
Of course the third possibility is that both are true.

What a stupid premise. Maybe Kobe should have just stayed on the bus that night  |

Did you intentionally write a misleading headline to generate interest? |

Did you see the Hawks layup line under the Lakers basket the entire game? Wouldn't have happened if Mihm were done there. |

It snowed the last three days in Arkansas, it's Kobe's fault because he is close to here in Houston. |

Yes.
But it seems like some bitter mods didn't get it. Nothing like a mod that goes around and insults other members.
PopCorn is a great mod. How could he not be? So much bitterness. He's just mad at the world. Hey, I would too be if I were that ugly and unliked. _________________ Agent 62 |

1.) I think there's the third possibility that ya just wrote it meaning the
game itself (including the injury) have hurt us since, and didn't mean to
mislead with the title (far worse titles have gone unchecked by the way).
2.) Popcorn is one of the more chillaxed mods on the site normally, so
just thank your lucky stars it wasn't one of the watchdog types, cuz
they don't play nice |
