It's as unlikely (if not moreso) than Francis.
Honestly both A.I. and Francis are bad fits next to Kobe.
Difference is A.I. is a far superior player.
Wouldn't be the perfect move, but how could ya pass it up?
As long as it didn't mean moving both Odom and Bynum I think you'd
have to roll the dice on it.
Kobe's in his prime and only so many deals will be available to make sure
that it's not wasted. |

| A couple years back we all would have been on a Shaq for Odom/Butler/Grant/Number 1 pick trade. It may seem unlikely but nothing's impossible. And as I said, I trust my source. So I believe that we're going to hear this announced soon. Even if it may really sound unlikely and even impossible to some. |

They would be a hard combination to stop. I wonder about chemistry, but I wouldn't mind trying for a season. Iverson could be traded again if it didn't work.

If all they had to give was Odom and filler, the Lakers would jump at this. They'd gladly toss in the Miami pick to boot. But why would Philly do it? Doesn't make sense. Still, AI and Kobe would be sick!

Someone close to me who happens to be in the news biz. I'm not trying to convince anyone here. But I believe that this deal is going to happen. If you hear this announced, just don't forget where you heard this rumor first. If it doesn't, then I lose all credibility together with my source. |

I'm not sure but Bynum has to be involved if the Sixers were to make this trade. An Odom + fillers(no Bynum) won't make any sense and the Sixers would be nuts if they agreed to that. But Odom and Bynum just might do it.
To be clear though, the only thing I got is that we're getting AI. Wasn't given any other names. So Odom/Bynum for AI is pure speculation on my part. |
