Curious why you are down on BI, he’s been training his butt off since the Lakers season ended, he has been working with Micah Lancaster in several different locations and seems poised to have a big year.. any ways you and Josh Martin seem to have good chemistry

I don't recall being down on BI in the episode. If anything, the concern that LeBron will stifle the younger players could be the hardest on Ingram, potentially - but down on him? Not at all.

Last year, BI basically was "the guy" who had the ball in his hands end game -for better or worse - and a lot of times for the better.

Thinking the ball is in LeBron's hands in the same situations this coming year

In your opinion, what’s more likely the team swings a trade for Nikola Vucevic or Jimmy Butler? knowing that the team’s C position is the weakest maybe they hold firm and wait for Butler in 2019.. and try to get Vucevic before the season starts.

I don't believe they value the center position like a lot of people value the center position

Not surprised and won’t be shocked that the Lakers probably think they can win and go to the finals with McGee as there starting C, if we were talking about 10-20 years ago when the C position was more crucial then I could have disagreed but most teams are focused on getting players who can shoot the 3 ball.

Why stretch Deng now? Is it strictly just a favor for him to let him play for someone else like Randle? Brewer? Bogut?

Seems like the advantage would be to keep since we’re paying anyway this year to continue to try to use his salary as a match in a trade for 2nd star. Then if unable we could stretch next summer.

The Lakers considered the value of Deng in a trade - or rather his negative value - and decided saving $7.5 mil is better than trading away a Josh Hart to make a deal happen - or a first rounder that could be the next Josh Hart.
