Just curious on what people think about the rumored possibilities above.
(obviously some of these trades would involve filler)
The assumption for the polled players should be that Kobe, Bynum and
Mihm would not be included in any such deal.
I'm leaving off stretches like KG, Iverson, Iguodala, Ben Gordon, Jermaine
O'Neal, and other players who would likely draw favorable response, but
haven't been rumored from very legit sources.
(note: I don't even consider most rumors of the players above to be
all that legit, but the discussions involving those players is more formally
suspected than the players I'm leaving off). |

i voted for lewis because hes the only one that is healthy and that would fit with the lakes pretty well.if we did trade for lewis i would also like to get a pg to initiate |

I've been on the fence about Lewis ever since he was mentioned.
I definately like him better than the other players listed up there.
A move for any of the other players on there and I'd be mad.
For Lewis, I think it helps us with scoring, hurts a bit on boards, but
overall is a decent move cuz LO just isn't getting it done.
DG = contract up this summer
Fortson = contract up in 2007 summer
Ideally, I'd do LO/DG for Lewis/Fortson. That way we have Fortson to
help the boards we lose with LO gone and help deepen the PF position,
yet he's still off the books as George would have been going into the
summer of 2007.
The numbers work for that too. |

I'll have to go with Rashard, fits the team more than the other choices. Another deal that I'd consider would be with the Grizz that would send us Battier & Eddie Jones for LO & George. _________________ #2 Lonzo

if you're talkin strictly boards, Evans seems like a no brainer in comparison to fortson. Plus he's less foul prone.
Odom
Walton
for
Lewis
Evans
Murry
Mihm/Kwame/Bynum
Evans/Cook/Turiaf/Slava
Lewis/George/Green
Kobe/Murry/Wafer
Smush/Sasha/Mckie
then we would still have Mihm, George, Kwame, Evans, Murry, Mckie, and Cook as trade bait for a quality PF and a serviceable PG. |

If we send LO to Seattle, we have to get PG in return b/c I don't think PJ wants Kobe to play initiator. A third team would have to get involved b/c Seattle can't give up Luke. They have no one else. At least I don't think? |

Francis-YES!
Lewsis-YES!
Boozer-nope
Kmart-nope
Frye+Penny-gives us young nucleus for the future, but provides no capspace this year.
The way LO's been playing he's his value is not going to increase enough to get a player a better than those guys. I wouldn't be surprised if his value dropped after allstar break. Get what you can for him now. |

I'd try to expand it LO+filler for Lewis/Flip and either Evans or Fortson.
Murray has already been mentioned as a target back up guard, and both Evans and Fortson are in the dog house there (especially with Wilcox in).
Then you fill the need for back up guard and rebounder. Both of them come off the books in the summer--if they play well you can resign them, if not either S&T or let them walk. |

Not a bad idea, I like it.
All a matter of what Seattle wants of course, but I like the concept. |

Kwame
Bynum
Slava
for
Boozer
Deron Williams
Not a recommendation, just playing around with trade-checker (it works)...
...but would anyone do it?
It would give ya a starting lineup of...
Mihm
Boozer
Lamar
Kobe
D.Williams
With Smush, George and Kwame first off the bench. |

Well I wasn't one of 'em for what it's worth
On a straight up 1-for-1, I'm still on the fence roughly with R.Lewis, but
I've swayed a little towards liking it lately. I'd probably do it.
Like I said, tweaking it with extra role-players and it's a greenlight from
me for sure. |

I would trade Odom for K-mart, Francis, Lewis, and Frye/penny.
Boozer and Odom are about equal so I would pass on that one.
I would love to get Lewis for Odom!!! |

^ Lewis is the best there... I'd consider Frye if the other rookie we get is Nate. Any time we play a team with a really short PG, he could jump over him and dunk. That would be cool... _________________ -

Of course but that's the beauty of it...
LO makes about 3 mil more than LO...we would almost certainly have to get another player in the deal...
I'd be happy with RLewis and Flip though we'd need Evans or Fortson to make up for eveything we would be losing...
I'd also be happy with the shotblocker in Mikki Moore...he impressed me while he was with the Clips...good cheap option! _________________ Build around team players, not ISO players. |

Our interior game is weak, weak, weak. Having a second option inside would be huge. And why we would want an undersized SG who shoots 20% from 3 land I have no idea. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
