Agreed. I expect 7 rebounds in 14 burn in World Cup play. That is if Zubac is going full throttle. Of course this is me not actually watching the game in action.

Zubac's Boxscore against Poland (no Gortat):

6pt (3/6FG), 2rb, 2ast, 1TO in 14min. Not good.

This is who Zu is....shows flashes at times but more than usual has these types of performances.

Not sure what type of stats you expect in 14 minutes.

You’d hope that an nba talent level center would dominate against a below nba level roster’s small ball lineup and force them to adjust to him instead of vice versa.

If this is how you truly see things I am not sure what to say but I'll try.

Sheer talent does not mean you will dominate your opponent regardless of the level of basketball. Team play/chemistry and coaching play a big factor. Just because Poland may not have NBA talent does not mean they are not a good team. How did team USA with borderline NBA talent recently lose to Mexico? See above.

Croatia has Saric, Bogdanovic, Zizic and Zubac. Four NBA players yet they still lost to a below NBA level team. Saric and Bogdanovic had nice scoring games but by your logic they should have dominated and scored 35 apiece as they are established NBA talent.

Of course it is Zubac so he gets dumped on.

You do realize that per 36 that is 18 rebounds.

Damn high standards you have.
